I take zinc every night and whenever I feel like I may be coming down with something, and almost always, the zinc (along with grapeseed and Boiran's ColdCalm) keeps me from actually getting sick. I call this my immune booster cocktail - it's amazing! I've also noticed that when the zinc is in the picolinate form, it does in fact absorb better and it clears the bacteria in my body that causes acne, so my facial skin looks clearer.
