Works great
My cat had constant diarrhea (2-3 x a day) before I started him on these probiotics. Now he has normal poops and only has a runny poop or soft stool1 day a month at the most.I mixed it with dry food and I found that if I put too much my cat would not eat much of it. As it turns out, my cat did not need that much. I only used one scoop for 2 cups of dry food (shaken together in a pair of bowls). This container lasted almost two years and i still didn't use all of it but was worried about it's effective shelf life, so I just ordered another. My cat had also lost a lot of weight, you could feel all of his bones when you pet him but now is at a healthy weight. He also throws up a lot less.

Good Product to use as part of an overall plan .
I have a 3 year old 135lb male German Shepherd (in tact). I have had him since he was 8 weeks old. Since he was about a year old his fur has been on the dull side, he shedded a lot, was always scratching. On the edges of his ears there were a few bare spots and he had dry dandruff. He also would get what looked like cysts or abscesses on his back that he would bite and break open. Then these seemed to get further infected resulting trips to the vet for steroids and antibiotics. He always smelled yeasty and his stools were almost always soft, not runny. On the last round of these issues I think I may have found the combination that works for him. I noticed that after the Vet perscribed Fortiflora that after a few days he stopped smelling yeasty. That led me to purchase Tummy Works because it is cheaper. Here is the "magic formula" that seems to have worked very well . DO NOT expect this to work overnight. Give it at least 30 days but I would guess you will see results withing 1 to 2 weeks.1. Use Tummy Works per directions2. I feed him Purina Pro Plan Salmon and Rice3. As soon as I see anything that may look like a hot spot beginning I use Genta Ved topical spray (by perscription)4. WIth each feeding he gets a little Hills science diet canned dog food and a little cheese.5. I do use Apoquel if I notice him itching6. He gets 3 generic clearatin tabs daily and one Vitamine E tab daily7. About every 8 weeks he gets a shampoo with a medicated shampoo designed to reduce fungus and hot spots. The result of all this is that his fur is soft and shiny, he does not shed nearly as much as before, his poop is smaller and solid, he does not smell yeasty and he does not itch nearly as much. This is what worked for me. It took a long time to figure this out but this seems to be working.

Works well for my dogs and cat
This product seems to help my dogs have less tummy issues and their stools have become much more consistent with no more scoots. I decided to give it to my cat also. She wasnāt having any real problems but I have noticed her stools are more consistent and she seem happy. My really only complaint is the scooper. It recommends one half scoop but the bowl is small and can be hard to judge half a scoop. I think if they made the bowl the amount recommended and suggest using two scoops if more is needed. Thatās really my only negative feedback the product works well and the animals seem to benefit from it.

If your dog has a yeast infection THIS STUFF WORKS!
Seriously, I got this stuff on Tuesday, and by Friday I noticed the horrible corn-chip smell was gone! I couldn't believe it!My dog had to have surgery a few months ago, and then had to wear the "collar of shame". Being a kinda neurotic dog to begin with, this sent her right over the edge, poor thing. She was absolutely devastated, and of course, she developed a yeast infection due to the stress and anti-biotics.I had her on probiotics, two different kinds! But it wasn't helping at all.... she was getting worse every day. Constantly scratching, chewing, licking, and STINKING!Now she's healing... still a bit itchy, likely from the scabs everywhere, but she's go no new chew/scratch areas, and is also sleeping much better (and so am I)I am thrilled with this product! An update 3+ months later:I jumped the gun on this review. Yes, the probiotic helped immensely, but it didn't solve the problem... she was back scratching a few days later. I ended up taking her to the vet, and got her a shot of Cytopoint, which was a miracle! She went from literally scratching 24/7 to not scratching AT ALL in less than 24 hours! No kidding. This broke the viscious cycle she was experiencing. My dog is allergic to fleas, and when her flea protection failed at the same time as the surgery, etc, it started a kind of cascade effect. The Cytopoint did the trick. She has not needed another shot, (generally the shot lasts 4-8weeks) doesn't itch, but does continue to have minor smell issues if I don't bathe her once a week. (I use a shampoo for sebhorrea, and let it sit on her for ten minutes)However, in regards to this probiotic product, I HAVE noticed that her coat is absolutely gorgeous! And not just the new hair that came back once she stopped chewing it all off... but ALL her hair. She's a deep, dark red that is nearly an irridescent purple. Shiny, shiny, shiny, and soft too. She's gained some weight beyond what she lost during her ordeal, and is maintaining on less food than before. She's a happy healthy dog again, and I'm happy to have her back.
