I purchased these cables to help hang a sun shade that I purchased for my backyard. These were the proper length that I needed so this gave me something that was already made and I didn't have to measure and secure the wire loops myself. When I purchased these, I knew they were not intended for heavy outdoor usage, but I thought how heavy could a sun shade be? I did not factor in that with the wind and the constant tugging of the cables, that they would not be strong enough to hold. I had a couple snap on me during some moments of increased wind, so I had to use a hammer to flatten out the ferrules that were securing the cables.The fact that it took some strong winds to swing the sun shade back and forth tells me that these cables are very strong when used as suggested. Under normal usage whether inside the house or for connecting bags, these are a great buy. I love that they are coated, so you're not touching the steel wires and they won't snag on anything. The carabiners are on the small side, but they are still quite sturdy.

Decent product. Not sure ho to verify it they are 316 steel however. No rust or corrosion yetUpdate 2022 - They have begun to show rust. Although this is in a constant outside marine environment. They still get the job done for now.

Très satisfait pour l'utilisation, et surpris de la qualité surpassant le besoin ! Je n'avais pas réalisé à quel point le fil d'acier de 2mm est très solide. Je crois que 1mm aurait amplement fait l'affaire, puisque l'utilisation ne requiert pas de force ou tension, mais simplement sécuriser et éviter de perdre une goupille de blocage.
