I have been searching forever for decent kitchen oven mitts. The fabric ones I had finally fell apart. Frankly, they were too thin and I burned my hand a couple of times so I wasn't crushed when they bit the dust. In my research I found an article on the "best" oven mitts in a noted culinary magazine. Their pick for the "best" were priced at almost $20 per mitt! I am not going to pay $40 for two oven mitts. Then, on Amazon, I found these Gorilla Grip Heat and Slip Resistant Silicone Oven Mitts -- two mitts for less than $15. I am so glad I ordered these mitts (they also came with two silicone trivets). They are fabulous! I only cook with cast iron pans so I absolutely must have great heat resistance and a firm grip on my pans. These mitts deliver both. The cotton lining makes them comfy on the inside. And they are easy to clean -- just wipe them down versus having to wash them in the washing machine which is usually what starts the mitt to degrade. I have medium sized hands and these fit with just a little tugging. Anyone with larger hands might find the fit a bit snug. But the performance of these mitts overrides any other small issues. I highly recommend these oven mitts.

I have used silicone oven gloves for several years but they developed tears in the joint where the thumb and index finger meet.So, I found these and we really enjoy using them. The silicone material in these mitts is more flexible than the gloves. The cotton lining is much nicer feel and adds a layer of protection from heat. We have decided to buy an additional set for a gift.I would buy this set again.

Without question, the best oven mitts I've used. Over the years I've gone from terrycloth mittens to BBQ gloves to double insulated foil leather gloves, but none of them compare to these.

They seem to work pretty good. I haven't noticed any heat yet. Cleaning is pretty easy overall although sometimes things in the grooves. I like the hot pots, works good on the counter when transferring hot food or just when serving.

The mitts are grippy and protect the user from dry and wet burns while cooking. The liner offers another layer of heat protection as well. The trivets grip the table/counter top surfaces as well the hot items loaded on them, making them stationary. I would buy and recommend this set to anyone looking for safe oven mitts.

I like the colour options and like the almond colour (beige) for my decor. The mitts are on the small side with a narrow opening. The hanging loops are small and could be easier to hang. The trivets are floppy with tiny hanging holes. Overall, the mitts fit me but wouldn’t fit someone with large hands and arms, and I think the trivets should be firm. I don’t know how to wash the insides so I replace my silicone mitts every now and again. I will not re-purchase these as I need something bigger for my spouse.

I wasn't sure I would like these because I have always used quilted fabric mitts and I was used to them. When they wore out I wasn't happy about having to finally retire the old mitts. I tried these silicone mitts and I really like them! Hopefully no more blisters for a while. I would recommend them for sure!
