My son has non-allergic rhinitis, which means he's coughing and draining twice a year- when the weather goes through its major seasonal changes. Some years are worse than others, We've found items that help with the drainage, sore throat and sinus pressure, but we hadn't found anything that worked for the loud, barking cough. Until now. When it comes to his cough, this stuff is the bomb! I can't believe how quickly it tames his coughing- now he can sleep at night, and I can take him out places without having to say to the people around me, "He's not contagious." My son no longer has to explain to his friends and others that he has vasomotor rhinitis, and that he'll be coughing and coughing until the weather stabilizes. He can play outside. He's not a big fan of the smell, as it has lavender in it, and he thinks it makes him smell like a girl. The smell goes away quickly, but the few minutes that it is noticeable is enough to make him gripe. We will continue to use this product in conjunction with the others to get him through the weather changes. He and I are both glad that we have finally found something that allows him to be a "normal" kid again. 9/17/2019 My son reordered this product, as he lost the other jars. (Teenagers!) He is not happy with himself for losing the jars, as he had to put up with the barking cough at night for several nights until the new jar arrived. The difference is almost immediate. Once he puts the salve on, the coughs diminish until there aren't any. Once it wears off, the cough comes back with a vengeance. My only complaint isn't with the product, but with the son who will not reapply unless told to. This stuff is a wonder. My son no longer stays up at night with a hacking cough. He can get a good night's sleep, and he can make it through the day without the cough and the exhaustion it brings. To say that I love this stuff would be an understatement.

The Breathe-Ease Balm is awesome for the cold and flu season. I care for my disabled brother who is so susceptible to catching cold and it turning into pneumonia. I previously used Vicks Vaporub which is greasy and hard to get out of clothing. The product using all natural ingredients, absorbs into the skin, unlike Vicks, and provides comfort and relief from the nasty respiratory symptoms that are commonplace during this time of year. My brother laughs and giggles when I rub it on his chest and back and says; "THAT SMELLS GOOD!" This blend of essential oils has a wonderful, calming scent. It isn't long he is breathing easier and more settled. I am not only happy that he is happy, but pleased that this balm doesn't have harsh chemicals. I also appreciate that this company is a small business and takes great care into sourcing the finest ingredients for all their products. I love this product and I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANY OTHER PRODUCT FOR MY SWEET BROTHER! Thank you!

This is an expensive chest rub. The reason...they didn't skimp on the natural oils. It's strong stuff and IMHO they are using high grade oils which makes it so aromatic and effective. Just a dab beneath the nose and breathing passages open. It is also non-greasy just as advertised and is readily absorbed by the skin without any tackiness. Some have thought it to smell gingery. Maybe they were reviewing another product because the high note here is eucalyptus and the middle note lavender. It certainly doesn't smell gingery to my nose. But it does smell heavenly and relaxing. While much more expensive than Vick's Vaporub, it's much more of a solid (like a solid perfume) than a gooey gel and should last much longer. The only thing I'm worried about is it lasting beyond it's shelf life. Mine was just short of two years and since I'm the only using it, I hope I don't wind up throwing away what one person likely won't use. Maybe they could make one half this size for single persons?

During sick days, my kids ask for this rub themselves! Especially when nasty cough, I rub their chest, back and feet and it helps so much:) highly recommend this

I bought this as a natural alternative to Vick Vapo Rub or Mentholatum. It doesn't smell as good as I had hoped, though it's not a "bad" smell (I think it needs more pepperment, less eucalyptus). Also, unfortunately, for me, it causes a skin reaction (itching, mild rash). I think that's perhaps the eucalyptus, but I'm not sure. That may not happen to most people, but because it happens to me -- I've tried it four or five times and always get that reaction -- I can't use this stuff. (I should have returned it, if that was possible.) I wouldn't say you'll feel "instantly better" from it, but if you don't have sensitive skin you may well like this rub.
