Solid tone and easy install
While the kit did not come with instructions I was able to find a similar install online. Less than half the price of the K&K, I am impressed overall. Requires a bit of adjustment to my playing style since the whole top is now amplified, it worked wonderfully through a preamp. Completely noise free which the recording engineers demand:-) I also like the JustPro sound hole humbuckers with slightly brighter high end around the same price. Will try them both together plus the mics next time in the studio.

I'd buy another in an instant
Clear instructions, easy to install, sounds WAY better than the Fishman under-saddle that came with my Guild. You'll need a taller saddle, though, by about an additional 2 or 3 millimeters if you replace an under-saddle piezo. And the price can't be beat - best bang for the buck.

Installation issues, but they work!
Won't know what they sound like or if they even work, I have a couple broken bridge pins, new ones coming tomorrow. This review is all about the installation and issues I experienced. Not too hard but not as easy and smooth as the video makes it seem. Was super careful and dry fitted the piezos not once but twice. The first 2 glued in place fine. The 3rd one felt good with the guide sticks and glued up, only to find that it blocked one bridge pin hole so I had to push a drill bit thru the hole to break it off and reposition it. Keep in mind you're doing this totally by braille, even with the hole guide sticks that come in the kit, you have to go by feel and cross your fingers. The other problem is I had to unscrew the inside jack cover almost all the way back for the whole jack to stick out of the back of the guitar far enough per instructions. Only maybe 3 rings of thread left on the inside end of the jack for the cover to grip. The actual problem is that the piezo mini plug is too big to go into the end of the jack cover to connect to the plug. The cover is aluminum so I drilled the end opening larger for the mini plug to fit thru. One other thing to note, the plug is bent a little at an angle making it even more difficult to connect. I didn't want to try to straighten it out and possibly break it. They maybe should state these issues in their instructions, or make these to fit for different models like my Epiphone Hummingbird. Now I just hope they work or back to Amazon they go. 3/27/23 UPDATE, after all that, they work perfectly and sound great! The issues I encountered weren't all that hard to overcome if you're handy and somewhat mechanically inclined. The misplacement of one of the piezos was my fault, I got it right the 2nd time. I'm changing my review to 4 stars, you just need to look out for a few things that I encountered when you go to install them in your guitar. These pickups are a great deal!

Great Value for live players!
I have a Voyage Air Guitar (the one from Shark Tank that folds in half) that I love the sound of, but didn't have any electronics on it. Needing some type of live solution, and given how portable the guitar is, I looked into a bunch of different pickup systems. I landed the this pickup given how reasonably priced it is, and all the reviews I saw online were nothing but positive.Installation is pretty straight forward if you are handy. Journey provides most of the tools you'll need to get the job done. If you are worried about drilling into your guitar, please take it a local music shop to have a guitar tech install. I ended up needing a step bit, and 1/2 inch drill bit, and of course Loctite so secure the piezos to the wood. I wouldn't recommend using anything other than glue to install the piezos. They work on direct contact for best results. Tape will SEVERELY ruin the sound. Again, if you aren't comfortable doing this, take it to a guitar tech.To fish the connector through the pin hole, I ended up taking a 1/4 inch studio headphone plug, connected it to the pickup system, and pulled it through this way. This was the hardest part of the entire install. I tried with a guitar string but for the life of me, I couldn't get it to come through. The golf pin and mini chopstick was such a good idea! Not sure why other people had issues with the cardboard jig. I had it down after two attempts but your miles may vary.I plugged it into my DI Box on my desk and was amazed with how good the guitar sounded (hence why I'm typing this. I was that blown away). It sounded exactly how my guitar sounds in the room. I now have an ultra portable guitar that is ready to go for live use. I will be ordering another set to install on another acoustic I have for a backup.

Exceptional pick up
Best bang for your buck! It sounds good and the install was not so bad.

Good sound
I have installed several sound board transducers in the past, but I am certainly not an expert…but this installation was relatively painless. Okay, I had some problems getting the end pin jack just right, but eventually that worked out. I used gel superglue (Loctite), and I placed the pickup transducers using the jig….I wore some latex gloves to eliminate any glue-on-the-fingers problems I have encountered in the past. After letting everything dry overnight, I removed the putty this morning, retuned the guitar and plugged it into an amp, and slowly brought up the volume. There is good tone and balance on each string. Hooray!

Works good
I got this one because it was similar to a popular one like it yet it is only half the price. This one seems to work good. You will likely need some kind of pre-amp to boost the signal and some kind of equalizer to fine tune the tone to your taste, but the discs are large, seem to be high quality and pick up well. It was a bit of an experiment to try this brand but I am pleased with the product so far. I put it in my banjo guitar. I say get the little volume control box in addition to the pickup in order to adjust volume from the instrument, its worth it.

It works but cheaply designed.
Could have been a better ergonomic design. Too boxy and cheap feeling wheel. It does work though.

An excellent poduct for the pricepoint
I have installed two of the K&K 3 transducer systems in my Ibanez, and a Fender that my daughter plays, and now one of these in my $2000 red label Yamaha guitar. All of these require roughly the same treatment. Once you understand the process, IF YOU ARE A PERSON WITH REASONABLE TECHNICAL SKILLS, and a bit of patience, the process is easy and well worth the effort. Don't listen to the nay sayers! The transducers in this system are slightly larger than the K&K so you need to be a bit more careful regarding their placement. You don't want to smear the glue on and then wrecklessly put them in, in a way that is overlapping. The sound of this unit great, delivering what is perhaps the most accurate acoustic sound short of a condenser microphone without the elevated risk of feedback. You will always find people whining about almost every product that is for sale on any platform. This is one that requires a reasonable skill set to install, but is well worth the effort if you do it carefully and well.

Very good and even sound if installed correctly!
Without a doubt the most natural sounding system I tried except for microphones.Build quality is solid except for the Jack socket which is a bit flimsy, but for this price it's reasonable.Wires are too short if you want to connect to an inbuilt EQ like Belcat. I had to solder on an extension, but I had to clip of the socket anyway so no big deal.A warning. If you are not comfortable and proficient with delicate, precise and pretty awkward installation jobs on very expensive equipment, please hire a guy that is!Or install it on a cheap instrument first and if it worked out well and you like it, buy another pickup set.Tip 1. Don't glue them in place immediately. Use very thin double sided tape first and practice placing the pickups until you can do it effortlessly. This also allows you to listen to them and find the best spot.On my guitar I tried several times with tape and because my guitar is quite strong in bass, I decided to place that pickup two mm further away from the sweet spot than the other two.Tip 2. Once you are ready to use superglue, put only a tiny drop of it. I'd rather have them fall off because it's not enough than to not be able to remove them.Tip 3. Experiment with a brand new set of strings! If you do it with very old ones and they sound even, you might not be so happy when you install a new set later on.Tip.4 VERY IMPORTANTWhen it's time to drill a hole for the socket, (instead of ripping a hole), use a brand new wood drill bit.Don't use an old one and do not ever use a drill bit for metal! And go slow! Oh, and don't push! Let the drill slowly go through.Tip.5 put some cloth or towels under and over your instrument to avoid damaging it.Tip.6 The wires from the pickup to the socket are ridiculously short. If you plan to connect the pickups to a belcat like I did, or similar internal equalizer, be prepared to strip wires and solder on an extension.I already suggested to the owner of Journey Instruments to make the wires 10cm longer. That's it.A 500£ sound for only 50£.Even if you spend another 50£ on a professional luthier, it's still amazing value. Most natural sounding pick-ups on the market today.Good luck.

Very impressed !!
This pickup must be one of the best acoustic guitar pickups available in the market. It sounds so natural that it feels like the acoustic guitar is amplified via a microphone. No quack sound which is common with normal pizzo pickups.I have relatively inexpensive Cort branded solid top guitar. I have no doubt that it will instantly give a new life to any acoustic guitar.Few things to note for a successful installation:1) Follow the instructional video from the manufacturer and make sure the the pizzo buttons will stay "in between strings" and under the saddle position when placed on the plastic place holder card.2) use good amount of super glue for a good bonding.3) use a good 12mm drill bit ( I used an augur type bit which made a perfect hole) while holding the guitar in the stable manner.4) make sure the smaller threaded section stick out at the end pin position. Otherwise it will not mound the end pin cover properly.
