The media could not be loaded. This was a really cute piece. The lantern itself is as big as a perhaps a longer pairing knife? (See pic) the music quality it's actually really nice. Slightly staticy with certain songs when it comes to the higher notes but honestly nothing to go crazy about. It is decently loud as well and you cannot adjust the volume if you wanted that. For large rooms it would be really nice as the sound would carry. For small rooms the volume may get annoying. There are 2 settings, 1 with the light, music, and pieces of "snow" blowing, and 2 with just the light and snow. The snow doesn't really look realistic... it's sparkly like confetti pieces. If that's the look you are going for then great. If you want that REAL snow look this may not be for you. I honestly like it as is. The latern is nice and has a rustic look if you are into that. It requires 3 AA batteries, but does come with a cord. I haven't tested it, but perhaps you could use it without the batteries if you do not have them! Only thing is the cord is white and would take away from the rustic appearance of the lantern globe thing unless you have something to hide the cord. The cord requires the base (wall plug) in order to work or you could plug it into a computer or something. Took me a minute to find where to plug the cord but it's on the back on the bottom left (see pic.)I don't really have any issues with this! I haven't tested how long the music actually goes for as its a gift for someone else.

The snow globe is beautiful. The only negative I found is the music is too loud, and I don't know how to lower the volume. Otherwise, it's great.

Bought this snow globe for my wife for Christmas but she wanted it before to be part of her decorations. She says it is beautiful. We have it set on the timer and it comes on every night at the same time and shuts off 6 hours later. The music is a little loud but we like it on the timer which does not include the music. We also run it on the USB cable which saves on batteries.

The media could not be loaded. Sparkly, calming, mood-lifting…. The glitter emits a kind of prism effect of different colors - really enjoyable to look at. The angel figure is beautifully rendered! I don’t see this as a Christmas decoration, but rather, something to have on display all year round. As mentioned in another review, this would also make a wonderful memorial gift.
