These Are Translucent Washi Stickers.
These are indeed true washi stickers. They are not opaque; they are translucent. The stickers do not show up well on dark or "busy" backgrounds. There are two primary types in the set: maps and postcards. Most of the stickers are quite large. You may find them difficult to use with journaling or pocket pages, etc. The postcards tend to be of either American or French nationality. The maps are, simply put, a strange assortment. I bought this set for use in a school project, and frankly, think I will have to give most of them away. Good luck making them work for your purposes if you choose to purchase these.

A new favorite in my collection.
As an avid collage artist these stickers are perfect for anyone interested in junk journaling, collage, or scrap-booking. Designs are clearly printed, with a beautiful assortment of vintage colors and motifs. And couldn't be anymore perfect if I designed them myself. My only complaint is, as typical for washi stickers, they are a bit more sheer than I'd like them to be. But that in and of itself can be a good thing depending on what you're looking for. If you are any kind of artist interested in a vintage aesthetic you cannot go wrong with these. And I cannot highly recommend them enough.

It will be time consuming to be able to apply these and they're not nautical.
I bought these to apply to my nautical Christmas cards I was sending out. These stickers are pretty, but it's extremely difficult to get the plastic backing off of them. There were instruction tips but they were in Chinese or Japanese. Also, there's nothing particularly nautical about them. Some looked like some old world maps.

Disappointed
Half the stickers shown weren't even in the package. I got a stack of repeats, six different stickers that made up the package. And removing them from their backing is ridiculous. I wouldn't recommend unless you want six of the same few stickers. Not what I was looking for. And not nautical....most are postcards.

Some are easier to remove while others are a little harder. Very nice set at a good price.
