BELL MX-9 Adventure Cheek Pads Set Dual Sport Motorcycle Helmet Accessories - Black / 35MM

I have an odd-shaped big head - long oval - I'm 6'8" - I have an XXXL helmet from Bell (MX9 adventure mips). The top part of the helmet felt fine but the cheek padding was way too thin - 20mm - that's what the helmet came with. I had no idea what size to order to give me a snugger fit. I gambled with the 35 mm and IT'S PERFECT. My helmet fits great now. Very snug. Almost too snug. But it needs to be a snug fit according to all the expert helmet people out there. You can't have a loose helmet because it could come off in an accident, and not protect you on impact as it should. They say that 70% of motorcycle riders out there wear helmets that are too big.That's why I worried so much but these 35 mm cheek pads totally changed the fit of the helmet.Just be careful when you uninstall the old ones. Mine was really hard to get out and I accidentally squished the visor onto my face shield which left a couple scratches on my brand new helmet. Lesson learned!But now, I'm super happy with these cheek pads!

Easy to adjust fitment with cheek pads, but it is loud and squeaky. Flows good air, light, and good areodynamic design.

Helmet was to tight in the cheeks this solved the problem
