We buy a lot of pre-bagged baby spinach, and in the bag, or even in a harder plastic single-use vented plastic vegetable container that we'd re-use for baby spinach, the spinach would smash together and get rotted and slimy way too quickly, and we'd throw out too much. The larger 2 bins of the 4 pack version of this product have been great, preserving our baby spinach for at least triple, possibly quadruple, what we used to get. The perforated shelves help the smashing together problem, and the perforated inner bin and top vent get decent airflow to prevent the rot and slimy problems for a while. Condensation still forms on the underide of lid, but less so on the food than it would in a bag. The largest bin definitely doesn't fit in our humidity controlled produce drawer, but you need the bins to be that large to prevent the food from smashing together... It fits fine on a shelf. A small sacrifice for less food waste.

The media could not be loaded. These LUXEAR fridge containers (18 cup, 6.8 cup, and 1.92 cup) are awesome for keeping fruits and veggies fresh for up to two weeks! They have adjustable vents to control the humidity inside, which helps prevent spoilage. Each container comes with a handy basket that can be used as a colander to wash your produce or strain things like pasta. There's also a divider to keep different foods separate so they don't get crushed. They're made of BPA-free, food-grade plastic that's clear so you can easily see what's inside. Great for storing everything from lettuce and berries to meat and fish. They're also perfect for picnics, camping, or just keeping your fridge super organized. Just remember to hand wash them! They make a great gift too.

I like the look of these containers, with the clear acrylic outside, and green baskets inside. They are solid and fit nicely in my fridge. However, they have not improved the shelf life of my produce. I eat strawberries daily, but have found they start to rot and mold faster in these containers vs the ones they come in, even though I ensure they are dry and the vent is open. If I leave the lid off entirely, then at least it doesn’t decrease the shelf life of my strawberries, but does seem to defeat the purpose. However, they do still make my fridge look prettier and more organized.

NOTE: The labels do not come with the containers and were a separate purchase (on Amazon). They've been very helpful to help us know what's in the containers and a reminder to eat it!These containers have a made a big difference in prolonging freshness and a gamechanger, we are no longer throwing half of what we buy!I've recently upped my produce intake exponentially and was looking for the best way to keep it fresh for as long as possible. Before storing I give them a vinegar & baking Soda bath and dry them thoroughly. I love the removable colander I think it helps a lot with the air circulation and drainage. Another feature I LOVE is the vent at the top, these are the only containers that I have that have a vent, so I can close it for things that like it airtight or open the vent to release moisture for those that need it. Also, the largest one has a couple of dividers that can be used to divide the container vertically or horizontally (stacked or side-by-side). Often, I'll put two different berries side-by-side, and it works great.These containers are perfect...almost...I love them enough to give them a 5 and will likely buy more, but when they arrived there was a sticker that said that they need to be handwashed! What!? So far, we have been handwashing, but I'm sure at some point they'll end up in the dishwasher. I'll come back and let you know how that goes.

Ok, I went 100% girl and bought the prettiest set instead of one of the countless much cheaper choices that you can also put in a dishwasher and microwave. (Not this one.) But it's SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!! They also have vents in the top which the others don't, and optional dividers you can use on two of them. If only they were priced like their competition. The fact you only get 4 containers instead of more with the cheaper sets should have compensated for the expense of providing the extra features. I have gone ahead and bought a much cheaper set to compare, but these have my heart. They are SO BEAUTIFUL!!! Now I'm going to stop typing, wash them and start "decorating" my refrigerator with them! LOL I did truly buy them hoping they make our produce last longer, but oh, did I mention how pretty they are?!?!?!?! :)The cheaper set came. This product is strong and clear like acrylics. The cheaper set with the extra container is "translucent" plastic that is bendable. That made it impossible on the largest bin, even with lots of wasted time fiddling, to align the lid so it would close and seal. I love this set!Update: I've used these a long time now and they still look sparkling new and gorgeous. I was skeptical initially, but they really do make produce stay fresh longer. Buy these!

Even though they look like a quality product, I wont find out as I'm sending them back As soon as I took them out of the box I knew I couldn't keep them, they were too heavy empty, for my weak wrist and arthritic hands to use. I really liked the idea of this type of fresh fruit and vegetable containers., so I did more searching on Amazon and found this set by the same company "LUXEAR 5 Packs BPA-Free Plastic Fresh Keeper Set" Cheaper, lighter with handles that make it easy to put in and take out of the refrigerator. The lids don't have the vent holes, won't be a problem, as I'll be able to make them if needed.
