After a hip replacement, i found this product fantastic. I was lent the other type that stands, on its own, over the toilet which great because it has arm-rests but not as comfortable. I use it in the shower.

Great product. Once you use this regular toilet seats seem so low. Easy to "install" just set it on top of the toilet bowl. This is the easiest product to use for making going to the toilet easier for elderly people. My mom uses it and she is 93. I bought two and use one for when we are traveling. It is easy to shower off or hose off for cleaning. Or just throw away for the price, they last a long time.

Easy install! Just open box & pop it on! Hubby (5ft 11) loves it as the "family jewels" dangle quite low so he wanted the height to distance them from the bowl!! Me on the other hand am 5ft 3 so my feet are hanging in the air now, but the seat riser doesn't slide around when I climb aboard! He is missing the handles like the last one we had but the reason I chose this one for him is because the skid plates are not metal- the last one corroded the toilet with the metal clasps but we live in a rental so I don't want any damage to the toilet bowl!

Very safe and sturdy. Moves just slightly when sitting and standing up but hardly at all, and not to cause any safety concerns. Very easy to clean and keep clean, and set and remove. I’m 5’8” and the 5.5” is almost too high. But my feet both touch the ground and I think that’s what matters. Highly recommend this purchase!!
