Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo - Xbox One

This game is a throwback to the gool ol' arcade rally days of Colin McRae Rally 04/05 & Rallisport Challenge/RC2 on the original Xbox. If you remember those with nostalgic fondness, you should stop reading & get this game right away.Sure, the graphics are sub-par. Does this really matter so much? Not if you play a game solely for enjoyment. The game is pure fun, plain & simple. The driving mechanics are easy to pick up, I don't see how anyone could complain about them, it's not a simulation rally game. The rally tracks range from short & sweet to long, fun & engaging. The career mode has plenty to keep you occupied, with a variety of racing styles to compete in - single Rally stages to full Rally events to Rallycross to Drift events and so much more. There is a great amount of cars/tracks/game modes. No comment can be made to online mode, as I don't generally play games online.All in all, a great bang for your buck - so long as you don't take everything too seriously.

This could be a great value title for rally fans, but there's one aspect of it that just drives me batty and makes me not want to play.The good: The graphics are good (but not spectacular) and the tracks are good (but not spectacular). The driving physics are fine but a palpable step down from the "Dirt" series. All of this doesn't bother me much.Here's what I hate: It's so easy to get stuck somewhere and there's NO WAY TO RESOLVE. You can't move. You can't hit a button that would reset you on the road, even with a stiff penalty. Your option is to simply quit the level. UGH! This happens so often! It's almost not worth the effort. Right now, the game is gathering dust on my shelf because it's been so frustrating.

fun game. wish I could just unlock all the cars and tracks right out of the box though.

This was awful. I fussed with the settings and options for a solid 15 minutes to get the screen to stop skewing/pivoting oddly when i turned the car. I'm not even sure how to describe it, have played racing games for many years, never seen an out of car view that disorienting.

poor graphics, game seems so buggy, that I decided to resell it in less than 48 hours

Well worth the admission fee if you are into this type of racing. Recommended.
