Outstanding product. Bright, and further upgradeable.
The factory lights for my jeep were poor. They were hardly noticable and I am sad to admit that my Fog Lights were turned on to make up for their flaws. It was time to upgrade.Got this Conversion kit, along with the wire harness. When I got the product, I found out instantly that the wiring harness was not needed as the bulbs provided adapted to the old system wiring. You can save yourself a few dollars. The installation was as simple as removing your old bulbs, and replacing it with the Conversion Kit and the H4 bulbs that were in the box. The kit is made entirely of metal and heat resistant rubber, so you shouldn't have to worry about it melting around on you.The beam is very bright with these lights, and obviously, this kit allows for you to put in even better bulbs if you so desired. With that said, my only complaint is there was hardly any perifrial light that the old bulbs had. I turned a corner, and felt I was doing it blind. The beam is very forward focused.Overal, great improvement with a small price tag. Install is easy. Get it.

Not plug and play Not waterproof
Ok do people really know what plug and play means? I think not, everything snaps into place and then plug in right. Sure the new bulb plugs in and that's it, No, now you have the bulb retainer spring that does not fit, no instructions. Needed to be reworked to fit and then screwed down so add 40+ minutes to that 20 minutes plug and play they talk about. These lights are not sealed or water proof in any way. So no water crossing or mud up to your light level or they will blow! Yes these light your path much better, they say 3 times brighter, that's pushing it, but twice as bright, Oh Yes very good compared to the OEM lights. Yes I would still tell a friend to get, still the cheep way to convert that OME to the light bulbs that started coming out since 2000, and to go LED there all plastic even the ones at $300.00 a peace. So for the price they will work.

Great product that works better than stock.
Rock went thru my left headlight on my 2006 Jeep Wrangle Unlimited (Rubicon). I was a little weary of buying the same type of lights and often wanted something brighter for those long trips home at night. These did the trick and after verifying through reviews they would fit I made the purchase. The install took about 15 minutes and there was a noticeable difference at night. The screws to remove the old bulbs are on the front light of the headlight housing and require a torx wrench to remove. After that just put the light in (with bulb already seated) and connect everything back up.All that is left is headlight alignment, I've had my little black mule since she was born with 200 miles on the odometer in 2006 and ten years later she is still going strong. The ability to change the bulbs and have a cleaner brighter light is by far alone the best reason to buy this but take it from me, if you are hesitant, don't be because these work great and if you need brighter then get brighter bulbs for it.

Upgrade worth every penny.
Arrived in a great package, sealed and undamged. Bought the kit for 01 TJ wrangler, pefect fit no wiring adapters needed. Kit comes with everthing you need, including 55/60 watt street legal bulbs. No need to get higher wattage off-road bulbs. These lights are a 100% improvement over the sealed headlights. At $80 per set, this is a great dollar value. I considered buying an LED upgrade kits instead. But they cost $400-500 per kit. In my opinion, the LED are not 4 or 5 times better than this kit, since they can cost that much more, the best bang for your buck is this halogen set up.12/16/2013-follow up review. Still very pleased with the brightness. However, one headlight hit by road debris, it suffered a substantial cracked lens, but it still works, it has been raining for days, lens shows no signs of moisture damage. I didn't notice the damage until a week later. I taped it with heavy duty clear tape, to keep going. This begs the question, would a plastic lens kit taken the hit better? I really don't know. I am now looking for a replacement kit.

Inexpensive and Quick Upgrade
I have a 2006 Wrangler and I was replacing bulbs seemingly every six months. For those of you that have had to change a bulb on a Wrangler, it's not the quickest of tasks with all of the screw removals and re-installation. In that same amount of time, you can upgrade to these Rampage Halogens and have the ability to quickly change out the bulbs when they go out, like on every other vehicle out there. I was buying Sylvania Silverstars averaging $50 a pair (before discount codes), so for $30 more invested, I can switch back to H4s and swap out the bulbs in minutes.I thought about buying the KC conversion kit, but their lenses are plastic and I've already had a rock go through one of my KC fog lights. Rampage offers a glass lens for durability (and bonus - no fogging!). Apart from the convenience of this kit, the new headlights make the Jeep look years younger as the 2007 and newer models have halogens. Great product and I highly recommend it if you're as sick of changing bulbs as I was!

OH YEA.
got these in 2012 for my ole 75 f250. all the sealed beams I tried sucked. Mostly cause the ole darlin has only 2 headlights. These are so much better. Now, I did a little research and found that because of the vent tubes that come on the rubber covers mudding in "heavy soup" can fill up the housing. Well with a wee bit of vac tubing and some epoxy you can kind of get around that. I also made a "splash guard to keep direct hits away from the rear of the housing. NOTE. If you are getting these for and older p/u like mine you will have to do some mods to the "bucket" in the headlight housing mount as the whole in the rear where the wiring goes thru is no where near big enough for these bad boys to fit thru. Get a dremel and hone them out. A wee bit of work but well worth the effort.
