The roots came promptly and I wasn’t quite yet ready to plant. So, I put them in a planter to hold them and they started growing right away! (Picture 1) The roots were really healthy and fleshy. Grew right away. Out of the twelve, 11 grew. The one that didn't is just what happens sometimes. I planted the 11 left and they look great! (Picture 2). I watered them each day and they are taking nicely. I’ll so order from them again!!!!I wish I had gotten the full 12 plants and I know that I could have taken off a star because one of the hostas was dead, but the other ones are so heathy and vigorous I gave the rest a 5 star. Very happy when all is said and done!

I typically do not order plants online, especially bare root plants. Took a chance on these guys, and I am very happy. I soaked them in some water and root stimulator for 20 minutes and then planted them in a bucket with loose soil for a few days. All the plants have come up, healthy, and strong looking. They are now in the ground and doing great, I’m debating placing a second order. Looks like there are two varieties, so not a great variety if you were looking for a lot of different plants. But very nice healthy plants, would purchase again.

I really enjoyed receiving my hostas, and enjoyed planting, watering, and watching them grow even more. They grow VERY fast! I could not be more pleased with my purchase. Thank you so much. I love them!

These are already doing extremely well in my garden and I could not plant them for a while so put them with all of the natural material they were shipped with in a large bowl and kept them all watered til I could plant them - they started growing large and opening up right away. All of them survived - I purchased two packs.However between those two packs there were only two types of Hosta. Perhaps I misunderstood or did not thoroughly read the description.Still a worthy investment for my large front yard hosta garden and I even had a few to place around my small pond as well as a some for my backyard.

All my hostas I received were in great condition. Planted them and all are growing fine. I liked them so much, I ordered a second batch. Every single one is established and growing beautifully. Very happy with my purchase.

Everything came as advertised, bare roots ready to plant and a nice variety. Just what I was looking for to start my Hosta Garden, without breaking the bank! Wasn't sure how soon they would take off, but within a week the roots established themselves and leaves sprouted.

I don’t often give 5 stars. These bare root starters came 3 to a pack. packed in a mossy mix. not as moist as i would have liked, but the root systems were plentiful and seemed healthy.I’ve planted these under the overhead deck. In varying degrees of shade….form less than an hour a day to 3-4 hours a day, in the best sprinkled zone…always damp. but also well drained.Stay tuned for an update.
