Sawyer Products Micro Squeeze Water Filtration System

Great product to use outdoors, like camping or trekking. Cleans any water source you could find in the outdoor.

This filter functions as it should. It filters water. But one of the reasons I bought it was for its ability to mount on top of plastic water bottles. However, it does NOT fit on Fiji 700ml, Evian 750ml, Vichy 750ml, water bottles. It also does not fit on Arwa, Al Ain, or Masafi water bottles in 500ml or 1L sizes, or any others that I have tried overseas. I am disappointed because I live in the Middle East and travel to South East Asia regularly and it seems that the standard bottle mouth / thread size in these areas is just slightly larger than the 28mm thread on the Sawyer filters. (I tried both the Sawyer Squeeze and the Sawyer Micro). I realize that Sawyer has not promised a universal fit, but I thought others who may be considering this filter for international use should be aware of the compatibility issues. I will probably return this filter and look for one that is more suited to my AOR.

Il se glisse facilement dans un sac à dos sans prendre de place. De plus, le Micro Squeeze est un excellent choix pour les voyages solo ou les petites excursions. 4. I used this on a recent 17 day hike in outback Australia. The filtration system itself worked really well but the squeeze bag failed at the seams around the nozzle on the first use. I tried to do repairs on the track with some tape but it was not salvageable. Unless the squeeze bag is upgraded to something useable and reliable, it would be better not to include this at all in the package.

Adecuado para filtrar agua para una persona, buen sabor del agua, el flujo de filtrado no es mucho, pero aceptable para uno. Requiere limpieza con regularidad lo que obliga a llevar siempre la jeringa para limpiar. Lo peor del kit es la bolsa para recoger agua, tremendamente frágil, a mi se me rompió al segundo fin de semana de uso. Recomiendo desecharla y buscar otra alternativa (Platypus, Evernew o CNOC) lo que incrementa el coste para obtener un sistema de filtrado. El filtro es compacto y ligero. En general funciona bien, es incómodo tener que limpiarlo tan a menudo y tener que llevar tantos accesorios. Actualmente hay mejores opciones.
