I love this tool,it saves so much time, no more paring down cable with my knife or trying to strip off an outer sheathing without damaging the cable inside it, this tool does it all, and does it perfectly it is accurate when it cuts and does it in one action brilliant. If your doing electrical work like wiring a loft or garage you need this tool I recommend it to all DIY people.

Quality product

When I viewed the utube reviews by an electrical contractor I was a little doubtful. However I've now used it go connect around 20 wall lights to mains cable and I'm very satisfied with it. It's much quicker and accurate than using pliers and so far it has worked exactly as intended. I used it to strip live and neutral wires and the copper wires were not damaged at all.You have to remember to close the jaws of the device after use

EXCELLENT PRODUCT.

I thought I world give these a try and they work well enough but there are a few niggling things that stopped me giving a better score. Positives are that it parts the grey outer sheath well as well as the core. The niggling and annoying things are that it is hard to get the right adjustment so it doesn't just score the sheathing and the adjustment guide keeps moving so you think it's set up for a nice even copper at the end but you find it needs a couple of goes. In the end I just took the guide out and put a mark on the tool. On the whole, this has made stripping the wires easier than using a knife or cutters. It is worth saying I'm not a full time electrician just a competent diy.

This thing is great !!! I broke a plug and had to replace it, was worried about stripping the wires with scissors so ordered this and without any prior knowledge worked it straight away first time and it just works in an instance, very happy.

Good value for money, exactly what I needed and made life easier.The one downside is that it doesn't seem to handle stripping short pieces of insulation well, pushing the cutting jaw down will help with that.Overall, very happy with the product.
