The shelves themselves are very sturdy real wood (or at least look and feel like it). I love that the mounting brackets are one long bracket so that it’s easy to make sure it’s level. However, the instructions say that for best results, use the drywall anchors provided. But in actuality, for best results, take those out of the package and throw them in the trash because that is where they do their best work. Get yourself some good 30-50lb drywall anchors and use those with the screws that’s come with the shelves. The 1st pictures are when I used their anchors. Once I got rid of them and got my own, they mounted beautifully and flush to the wall (3rd picture)

Love them!Absolutely love these shelves! The grain on the boards looks great. All the hardware is included, and the holes for the brackets are predrilled and easy to install. I had a bit of confusion because I didn’t know that the brackets were already attached to the back of the shelf, but one message to customer service was all it took for someone to explain to me how to pull out the bracket to install on the wall. Customer service was fast and friendly and the install was super simple and took minutes.I installed these over my dresser in my bedroom and can tell there's already an improvement in the atmosphere! I love the clean but rustic look that adds a sense of richness to the room.I am usually skeptical about making purchases like this over the internet because I always question quality. These are SO GREAT. They’re beautiful and great quality. They give my room a Pinterest feel so it’s a win for me.If you're looking for an accent to transform your room, these will absolutely do the trick.

I always read reviews and only buy 4+ stars and is why I'm so upset that these shelves are not level in our bathroom. The bracket system does not hold them up! They are very unstable not sturdy!

Beautiful shelves so I am pretty disappointed that one of them is super warped and twisted, not a flat surface. Also followed the instructions exactly, the brackets and anchors are flush against the wall but when i add the shelves theyre too heavy and sag. If these were $20-$30 it'd be different but they were $60. Like i said, pretty disappointing..
