For the money, this little heater really does a good job heating up a room quickly. It definitely can help with heating bills in winter; you can leave your overall heat lower, and keep the heater in the room you are in to keep you warm. I haven't used it yet with the heatless fan setting, but that option will come in handy in summertime for helping circulate air.I like the portability; there's a handle for carrying, which is nice because the front can get hot. It's very lightweight and easy to move around.The cons are fairly minor, considering how well it works for the low price, but I would mention that it isn't as quiet as I expected. If you're using it at night in a bedroom, the noise could be an advantage--it creates a white noise that might help you sleep. However, if you have it on in the living room and are trying to watch TV, it makes it hard to hear.Another minor con is the safety feature which turns it off in case of tip-over. For those with pets and/or young children, I could see how this might be handy. But for me, it's slightly annoying. There is a button underneath that triggers shutoff the moment the heater isn't perfectly level. This means that you can't set it on a surface that isn't 100% flat, and you can't slightly angle it to blow directly at something. Sure, it still spreads the heat throughout the room, but you can't direct the heat unless you have a flat surface exactly at the height you want.Overall, I would recommend this heater--it's a solid basic heater that puts out a good amount of heat. It does generate more white noise than I expected, and the safety feature prevents strategic angling, but if you are looking for basic and affordable, this is a good buy.

I bought this to replace an aging one I have that works fine once it gets going, but takes forever to heat up a room. This thing stands on business and within half an hour, ure already fairly comfortable. Of course it's not for a wide open area, but an enclosed room. Im glad that there's the fan option for when the room gets too warm and the tip over protection is a plus. Initially I was afraid to buy it because I read about two reviews that stated it caused an electrical fire. However, I made sure and plugged it directly into a socket and NOT an extension, which is one of the main causes of fire, as well as incorrect voltage. I hav had no issues this far. I have not used it at the highest setting at max power because I don't need all that. The first setting does the trick for me and even becomes too warm when the temperature rises, but the fan feature resolves such issues. Once u manage it's usage, your energy bill isn't severely impacted.

This little thing cranks. It get super hot, great for small rooms. The dials are really hard to read but easy to figure out with a little trial and error. The last one did melt the outlet cord. So it’s probably not safe to leave on all night unattended lol. Tiny cheap and light but does get hot

I love this little heater. It’s not very big which is what I needed, but it sure gives out a lot of heat. I like that you can adjust it and/or turn it on a fan setting. Great item for my money. It automatically shuts off when you barely move it, which is fine by me having kids in the house. That’s a great safety feature. Works well.

It doesn't work like the Lasko brand heater I'm replacing and I'm finding it really difficult to adjust to. The heat adjustment is very cumbersome. You can select the temperature, but it works by turning itself on & off with the same heat output. Lower temperature selection means it'll just shut off more frequently. I'm trying to stay warm in my office and the on and off is very distracting. For what it's worth, I did purchase a second one from a different brand also on Amazon and it functioned exactly the same as this. Maybe that's just how they're being made these days but I miss my Lasko.
