Brought a laugh!
These were given as Christmas gifts. Made the recipients laugh, and I put a note on the bottle that we had to be invited to a meal to try it out! Arrived quickly, can't wait to try!

Outstanding ribs, great base.
This is my go-to rub for pork ribs. I don’t care for dry rubs that start with 3 fistfuls of brown sugar that end up as a layer of black carmelized candy on my ribs. I’ll source my diabeetus elsewhere, thank you.Bone Suckin Sauce is a godsend. It’s incredible on its own, but it’s certainly a good starting point if you want to start tweaking the flavor by adding other spices of mixtures like chipotle or Montreal Steak. The key to this rub is that there is not one overpowering spice that you have to try to dilute or mask. If you want to make it hotter or sweeter it’s easy to do without an enormous amount of added ingredients. It’s permanently stocked in my spice cabinet. Don’t pass this up.

This rub really helps develop great bark on smoked pork shoulders
I have yet to find a dry rub that is as versatile as this one from BSS. First and foremost, I use this rub on meats I prepare in my smoker. This rub really helps develop great bark on smoked pork shoulders, ribs, and brisket. The flavor is absolutely perfect when combined with various woods including hickory, pecan, mesquite, cherry wood and apple wood. I also use BSS on meats that I grill. I like to rub a steak with this stuff before putting it on the grill. I've also used it when grilling mahi and salmon. I can rub the fish and then put it directly on a hot grill without oil and the fish doesn't stick. It's surprising, but the flavors really compliment this fish as well. Try it!
