I prefer this to the more expensive blue tooth model
I originally got the more expensive newer version but returned it when could not find the app on the Apple App store. Found out later it is shown as PEF app when you do the search they suggest and is below the one for a PDF app which is strange. But ordered this instead and prefer it. Why? Because it can be tricky to get the correct readings on these devices and you can simply enter the average reading you get in the app. But if bluetooth it would add in ones that are not accurate. This way you control the input and it is not that hard to do. So the PEF app works well for this model, better in my view. I am getting different readings from the Omron device but both are bit tricky to get correct readings. Still I find both useful. I am doing this not for usual reasons. I am doing the Breather Fit exercises which show my PEV to be those expected for half my age. I wanted to see what improvement is shown and find these devices useful for that purpose. I do find the chart function very helpful on the PEF app and can e mail that to share with doctors etc. Can also set the expected values either from doctor or per the estimate from several app choices. Can recommend both this and the Omron devices for those wanting to measure their peak flow.

The ease of use and the price
This was recommended by my transplant team after my double lung transplant. It serves its purpose for the price as long as your not looking for all the extras that would come at a much higher price

Doesn’t work and can’t get a refund
This product is terrible. I got it yesterday, it worked once and now only gives me the “E1” error. Buyer beware - this product is “not eligible” for return or replacement. Don’t waste your money!

Excellent product. My pulmonologist recommended it, and after tracking my results, he was able to determine my next steps with more confidence.

Bluetooth connection
Having issues to connect to Bluetooth and even thought YouTube shows how easy it is... My Android phone doesn't seem to recognize that the device is even on when it is

I’m really impressed with the Sonmol Portable Digital Peak Flow Meter. It’s compact and lightweight, so it’s easy to carry in a bag or even keep in a pocket. The digital display is clear and easy to read, which makes tracking both PEF and FEV1 simple for both adults and children. Setup was quick, and the instructions were straightforward – I was able to use it right away without any hassle. The readings feel reliable and consistent, giving me peace of mind about monitoring my lung health at home. I also appreciate that it has CE certification, which makes it feel more trustworthy and medical-grade compared to cheaper alternatives. For the price, this device offers excellent value. It saves me trips to the clinic for basic monitoring and makes it easy to keep a record of results over time. ✅ Easy to use ✅ Clear, accurate readings ✅ Suitable for adults and children ✅ Compact and portable ✅ Great price for medical-level quality Highly recommended for anyone who wants a reliable, affordable way to monitor their respiratory health at home!

Numbers stopped displaying correctly after just over 3 weeks use. Tried to get in contact with seller to order replacement but was unable to contact them as it said item is not eligible. Tried other forms of contact and could not get through. Not a battery issue as tried other batteries. Very disappointed as it's not cheap and should have lasted much longer.
