Face Painting GO: Book 1 Beginner Designs

This is a perfect beginner's guide to face painting! I'll preface this by saying that I don't have an artistic bone in my body; but the steps were written clearly and simply (no make-up artist jargon), and the photo diagrams made it easy to follow. I only had to practice a handful of times before I had enough basic designs down to paint all the kids' faces at my little niece's birthday party. It was a huge hit, I saved my brother and sister-in-law some money on the party costs, and some of the parents of other kids even wanted to hire me for their parties! I have a full time job, but this is definitely something fun to do on weekends for a little extra spending money. Or just to show off! =D

There are only 5 designs and you could do just as well looking at a coloring book.

Book is easy to follow & makes cute pictures!

Instructions are very clear, and is a great introduction for painting the 5 half-masks (type seen on cover) that are contained in the book.

What was in the book was fabulous. Would have liked more basic designs also.

I'm New and involved in training and workshops. Unfortunately, I still lack a little confidence and Memorial Day is on the horizon, and I'm having a hard time with retaining designs in my head. The instructions are easy and easy to build on so I'm not just a copycat. This book is very worthwhile for me.

This might be helpful for true beginners but the book includes only 6 face designs - I could have found designs online for free!

I think the author should be very proud of her first en devour. The illustrations are very well done.The directions are very easy to follow. So someone untalented, like myself, could probably do agood job of painting somebodies face.I look forward to seeing another book from this author..

Very few designs for the price. Very poor value for money.

5 stunning faces described using good photos in easy steps - butterfly, kitty, tiger, skull and monster. My girls don't want scary faces so was a bit disappointed to only have 3 that I could use. For the cost of a couple of commercial face paints its alright, but if I'm actually buying a book would have preferred more faces
