Assembly was fast and easy, once I ditched the included wrench. I used a ratchet and socket, which sped the process up 10-fold. I assembled everything by myself, and it took maybe 40 minutes, including cleaning up afterwards.The chairs and table are very sturdy, and also very stable. I liked them so much that on the next day I ordered a white table to place between two chairs, where the old table was starting to rust, and also had a glass top, which made me nervous.You really can't go wrong with this set.

Assembly instructions were easy to follow. The chairs and table are very sturdy. I love my new retro patio set. The aqua painted finish has a high gloss and is just beautiful! Great deal for the price!

I've read the other reviews saying two people are necessary for assembly of the chairs. While I can see why there are a couple of parts where another set of hands would be helpful, I assembled these by myself in about 20 minutes per chair, and I would say another person is not strictly necessary. What you do probably need to know is that there are a couple of parts where you need some pretty convincing persuasion/leverage to get the holes and screws to line up where you want them to be, even if you haven't tightened all the bolts before completion. Just be aggressive. You're not going to break them.If you know your way around a wrench, these shouldn't be too much trouble for you. I do agree with the other reviews that suggest using your own tools if you have them. The included wrench is basically useless. Use a socket if you have one. Even a normal box wrench would be better.Once these are put together they are sturdy, very attractive, and most of all they are comfortable. My mom laughed when I showed them to her because they reminded her of furniture my grandparents had back in the 50s. You really can't go wrong here, just know that assembly might be a little bit trickier than you're anticipating. Good chairs. Should last a long time.

The price, variety of colors, easy assembly, and sturdiness of the chairs and table are satisfactory. One person can do most of it, but as mentioned in the instructions two are better. Look at the color pictures in the ad to make sure you get the washers in the correct order and position (the provided instruction pictures are okay but study them carefully for correction positions). One thing that required contact with the company is that once you are ready to bolt the second leg/armrest to the back and seat is that it is necessary to turn the chair on the side put some force into moving the second leg/armrest close to the back/seat. If not, the leg/seat is about three inches from the back and in an upright position will not get close to the back/seat.

I love this set for my front porch. They are very comfortable and I have had a lot of complements from friends. They remind me of my childhood (which was many years ago). I couldn't believe how fast they came. My grandson put them together for me. they are very sturdy.

Love this set - I bought all colors for an outdoor party. The chairs are sturdy and comfortable - the table is a nice height as a side or "coffee" table - and a nice size so it holds what you are eating without crowding. The chairs do not tip. The table is also sturdy and doesn't tip. The finish is a nice powder coat that feels smooth and was applied evenly. The shipment came in a number of boxes which protected the pieces from damage in transit. The instructions were clear - and these were easy enough to put together. The party guests complimented me on the pieces (a set in white, green, blue and red) and thought they were better than having a picnic table where people couldn't move around to talk in small groups etc. Many outdoor chairs don't have arms - these do and they are just the right height for comfort. I would buy from this company again - thinking about the glider next! I wrote this same review for each of the four sets I purchased.

The vintage look but, built much better than in my grandmothers day. Extremely sturdy and just beautiful!
