Cats love it
Sturdy, a little smaller than I expected. Great for the little guys, but 19 lb goose still applies “if it fits I sits”. The cats all love it. Cardboard is bowing out but Goose is a chonker.

Word of advice: GET THIS IN A SIZE LARGE! 😼
*** UPDATE: I posted my original review on June 12th and it's now September 7th- my cats really loved this thing at first and for the first couple of days of having it they were in and out of it but then suddenly they stopped using it. It's been over 3 months since I got it and they haven't used it in 2+ months not even once and haven't even looked in it's direction (not exactly sure when they stopped using it but i'd say it was about two weeks after getting it- first day they were in and out of it for hours but then they stopped using it less and less as time passed and then eventually stopped all together). While this is really well made, is cute and I thought for sure my cats would love it since it resembles a cardboard box which my cats love unfortunately they didn't so it's now in my gigantic pile of other things I got for my cats that they don't use. I have a family friend who does animal rescues so i'm just going to give her this as well as all the other stuff my cats don't use so at least it's not going to waste and is helping other cats out 🙂. So word of advice if your cats are as picky as mine are i'd avoid buying this or get it (because you never know they might actually love it ❤️) and if by chance your cat(s) don't like it you could always donate it to animals in need like me. ***I have four cats and my littlest cat (my little girl Sahara) is the runt of the litter and has been super tiny her entire life- you'd think she was still a kitten if you saw her but she's 4 years old and is barely half the size of an average sized cat. My point is is that even with how tiny she is she still manages to take up over half this box when she's in it and my other cats (Nightshade, Cleo and Mufasa) are all average size and they barely fit when they sit in it. To be honest i'm glad that I ended up buying a size large because at first I was going to get a medium sized one. Side note I triple checked everything so I know 100% that I got the right size and wasn't accidently shipped the wrong size. I just wanted to let potential buyers know because I know how much of a pain it can be to get the wrong thing, have to return it and have sad furbabies haha 😿.Other then that i'm really happy with this purchase- my cats love it and have been in and out of it for hours since I got it, it's extremely easy to put together, it's really sturdy, I got the blue waves and red swirles designed one and it's really pretty and the colors are vibrant but the only negative I have is that I feel like it was a little overpriced and could've been cheaper. It's basically just a cardboard box with a cardboard scratching piece in it so not exactly luxery items (you could probably easily make one yourself at home if you wanted to) but my cats love it and that's all that matters 💕😽

Nice box
I have a very big boy. He's 17 pounds due to having some health problems that required him to take prednisolone daily for several months. I bought this because of other reviews saying that the large box was big enough for their big kitties. It's big enough for him, too. It also has a hole in two sides for toys, fingers, and cat paws. You can also buy replacements for the scratcher that goes on the bottom. It only gets four stars because the outside box is not very sturdy. It's about the width of a shoe box. The outside box appears to be intended to be a permanent kind of box, with only the scratcher requiring occasional replacement, but the outside box is not even as sturdy as a shipping box and can be easily damaged. The scratcher inside the box is also much thinner than other cat scratchers I've tried.Overall, it's a good box, especially for large cats. The price for the entire kit is about the same as the sturdier cat scratcher beds and it fits my large cat, so I will be buying this again.

Durable and NOT unattractive.
Yes, I felt a little stupid paying money for boxes when we have a recycling bin full of them! It's well worth it. Both cats charge us whenever a package arrives because they can't wait to get into the box. These are much more attractive then a couple of brown boxes laying around the house. They hangout and sleep and scratch in them everyday we bought them. Sidenote...I tripped over one of the cats and ended up in one of the boxes myself. It took a small amount of tape and it's like brand new. Very strong and durable.

Harvey & Jewel approved
I have two Maine Coon cats and it is difficult to find scratch boxes that they fit in and can enjoy. I bought these after several failed attempts to find some that they could fit in. These are very sturdy and they are very cute as well. The scratcher part is thick and sturdy as well. The bigger of my two cats, Harvey, has a habit of destroying scratchers and the boxes that they fit into. He hasn't destroyed these. Great scratcher and sturdy against Harvey, the destroyer. It's a win for me. I purchased two more of these to save. Like I said scratchers that they in are hard to find. (My cats are mid-size Maine Coons because they are mixed, I add this because full blooded Maine Coons are large cats.)

Won’t work for every kitty
The media could not be loaded. Got two of these for my 1 year old sibling kitties. I’ve had them for a few days and neither one of them have really used them. They climb in and climb right back out. The calico climbed in today and started chewing on the corner of the box so I distracted her with a toy. I don’t think it’s healthy for her to eat this box so I may try covering it with some material or just throw it out. Easy to put together but I ended up taping the bottoms and one of them came apart on one side so I had to tape that part anyways. So far my kitties are sticking with the cat tree or the furniture to relax/sleep. Cute little boxes though!

Purrfect for play time
The young cat (under 4y/o) absolutely loves this box! She plays in and around it often, entertaining herself (and us) for several minutes off and on throughout the day. Even the little arm holes which seem kind of silly provided alot of fun especially if we played with her dangling toys and such. When not playing in it or using the scratch pad, she is often found just laying in the box. Once her kittens were old enough they went nuts with the box! The kittens liked any old empty Amazon box but had more fun with the holes and scratch pad in this one.
