The FloodSax Sandless Sandbags were despatched the same day that I placed my order. Unfortunately my driveway slopes towards my garage and I needed to try to prevent water entering during storm force torrential rain that had been forecast. The bags started to expand as soon as I put them into a large bowl of water and the square shape of the bags made it much easier for me (as an older person) to put in place against the garage door, rather than the 5 ft long very heavy expanded sausage style bags that are on the market. They arrived well packaged in a flat vacuum bag and can be used without putting into water first, for such things as a leak from a washing machine etc. and the instructions also state that they can be used to push into the entrance of a toilet soil pipe to prevent sewerage flooding up. Have ordered some more to have as a preventative measure.

So I saw these some were online and I ordered them back in 2018. I live in Tampa FL had them in my closet til Oct 2024 and they saved my home from flooding. I can not recommend them enough. I had at the time needed more than I had so I ordered some off brand version that would get here in time. Big Difference. They worked in a pinch so better than nothing, but stacked next to these no comparison I have since bought 40 more to keep in reserve. and just ordered 40 more because the price has come down. they are safe to store for ever. Note: They Do take a few minutes to expand with water and best to submerge in a wheel barrel or something but you can hit them with hose, just takes longer
