Game changer for travel if you have a lot of skincare productd
I'm a frequent traveler and am kicking myself for not using containers like this sooner! So happy with this purchase and have plenty more bottles left if needed in the future. In the past, I've purchased a few cadence capsules (open top, screw-on containers) and wish I had gotten these sooner. The cadence capsules are great and durable but take up more room than these and are not the best for more viscous products and for sanitary reasons.Due to the reviews regarding finding duds, I tested all of these with water first to make sure they pumped to ensure I didnāt waste product. Every one I tested (about ten) were working. I think that the key is taking off the very bottom piece with a paperclip/toothpick in the hole, and pushing up the exposed piece inside so that the top pump is in contact with the liquid if you're not going to fill it up.I've taken these on two trips so far, one short domestic (USA) and another international for a two week trip to Thailand. I packed these in a harder, more structured case, and also smashed in a silicone zip lock between items and did not experience any cracked caps. I'm not sure long-term how durable these are and will probably not last forever, but for my needs, it's great. In terms of capacity, this held more than I needed for two weeks of skincare. I didn't fill all of them up as I knew I would only need a small amount of specific products (like my spot acne treatment and eye cream) but did fill three of the containers all the way. After two weeks, those that were initially filled up to the top still had about 1/3 left in them. The only "CON" is that this isn't for thick liquids which are hard to pump through the small nozzle provided and only a small bit comes out even if you are able to press it down. I stuck with my screw-on, shallow containers for this.SIX MONTH UPDATE: still going strong and I have not experienced any broken tubes or caps yet (though I pack these in a case that isnāt very flexible). Very happy with these and only wish I had gotten them years ago!

Great space saving, but be mindful of the kind of product
I bought these so that I could decant some products to pack when I go traveling or use to share products with my sister. This is great for things like foundation, primer, lotion and face wash. And the main reason why I chose this kind of bottle is so that thereās minimal product stuck on the walls of the bottle so less product waste. However, I would not recommend using this pump for products where you want to control the amount you pump and only need a small amount. For example, I donāt recommend putting liquid highlighter in this bottle. Itās a bit thick, so itās a little harder to pump. But the main reason is that one pump is too much product for a highlighter when I just need a little bit. I will likely move the highlighter to a different bottle like a dropper. So, I suggest keeping in mind how much control over the amount dispensed you want and if you donāt need much control, then this is a great container.

Perfect travel tubes
The only written review says they do not work so I wanted to make sure I reviewed once I had filled and tested a few bottles. This is what I learned:1. The thicker the product the harder it is to get in without air pockets. The CeraVe is a thick cream I use for my mild to moderate eczema. I filled four bottles of this. The first one using a cosmetic spatula and tapping the bottle until the cream reached the bottom. This took forever! After that I pulled out an industrial syringe with a 18g āblunt needleā (which is really just a hollow tube) and used that to squirt the cream into the tubes. I still got some air pockets but not as bad.2. Air pockets mean sitting there pumping with nothing coming out until all the air is gone. Not fun so try to avoid those air pockets. Do not under-fill or over-fill. You want to get the product almost to the top but just shy of the neck of the bottle to leave room for the cap. Thus you will almost always have a little air pocket at the top you have to prime away before the product will dispense.3. I need to find labels soon. Lol my sunscreen and cream look the same in these tubes so I will need to label them before tossing in my purse.Overall I am happy with these tubes. I have lots of empties left over for when I start traveling again but for now I have what I need in the tubes.I will update if I run into leakage or other issues.

Works great with slight tweak
I recently used these on a 9 day trip and for the most part, they worked great. I put some in my checked bag and some in my personal item. In both places, I kept them in a clear cosmetics case which is less protective than a hard case but much more protective than just a sandwich bag. One bottle from the checked bag did not make it, so they do need some protection to stay in tact. And like other reviewers have said, every single cap was broken in both places. Going forward, I have added some tape to each cap and I hope that will be enough protection to keep them from breaking.
