How would these compare to the zip-tie style or the tri-fold zips from izi and asp?

These are not made for on duty work. Great for off duty if you dept makes you carry cuffs when you carry off duty. Very flexible no where as stiff the zip tie styles.

Why can they not be shipped to Brooklyn?

Not sure don't live there and there were no issues shipping to my state
