Not as advertised- too small
Ordered 5 gallon bags, received item marked as 5 gallon bags. Compared to the 5 gallon bucket in the photos, the bags *might* hold 3 gallons.

A good alternative
I got these because we are rebuilding a house for someone and I didn't want to leave my plants there. It is definitely different. Just remember, don't put them out too early. Because they are above ground, they will freeze quicker. I think that they will work fine now that it's warming up. And you really do have to keep them watered. Being something that doesn't hold the water in, it requires watering every day.

Neat bags you can move easily if needed
So far I'm really liking these grow bags. Just planted some veggies in a few and will do more tomorrow. Can't wait to see how they all progress!I bought then because we just moved here and I don't know where I need to put my garden just yet. This is the perfect solution.

New favorites!
I like everything about these bags, very well made and fabric is thick. It is quite easy to move around even after watering the plants. Definitely getting more.

Smaller than expected
Make sure you adjust your size expectations. Searching Google you'll find a number of "nursery" standards for what is labeled a 5 gallon pot, most on the order of 3.5 actual US gallons. These containers, mathematically, are 2.5 actual US gallons. I would have returned them if I weren't in urgent need. Photo shows a 5 gallon bucket next to the fabric pot stretching to hold 2 standard gallon milk jugs. The fabric is sturdy, and the handles didn't strain while carrying filled container.

Just received them today
The stitching where the seam is has threads hanging out, not sewn very well. It says they’re reusable, we’ll see. Otherwise I do like the concept of having a breathable pot to prevent root rot. Maneuvering is fairly easy. I just planted today . Like I said we’ll see. I’m keeping them. Well I’ve been using them for about a week and a half, it doesn’t breathe as much as I thought they would but better than traditional pot.

These are perfect. I'm a gardener. My husband calls me his "Whoreticulturist" LOLUsing these for seedlings that are ready to be replanted from 1 gallon containers into 5 gallon.I chose these because they let air in, water out and they're lightweight so you can move your plants into the sun, and out.Very sturdy, very useful.

Moldy
I started my garden in May and June, so far some of these containers have gotten moldy. Ive had to repot some of my plants and noticed the roots were stuck at the bottom and even went through the fabric. Its my first time using containers like these so i wasnt sure what to expect, but ill just stick to plastic next year.

Easy to manoeuvre
Just started to fill the grow bags with compost. Easy to move, handles are sturdy.Planning to grow carrots, beetroot, leeks and Broccoli so there is plenty of depth for roots

Looks good for my tomatoes
I have used these before in the US and they were great. Now I have UK ones and I've filled them with topsoil ready for the tomatoes rising up from their paper cups. I am using them in the greenhouse - they enable me to squish in as many as possible along the sunny side. The bags are very strong and have good sturdy handles.

Impressive alternative to huge heavy pots.
These seem excellent, however, I had not realised quite how much compost is needed to fill one!Intended for tomato plants but will not know till later in season how well they have done.Glad I bought them though, as I could not lift a tomato bag (it's frustrating when you can't do what you always used to!!)

Flower pots for Veg.
I am writing this before having used them but I am filling a couple for putting some Tomato in ,I have been using the pot with a wick in them to pick up water for a couple of years now ,However I have grown to many tomatoes so instead of giving them away I thought I would give these pots a try . My Sister uses them and says they are good so I thought I would give them a chance this year.

Perfect for what I wanted.
These are perfect for what I wanted to do with them, which was to grow tomato plants. I can also move them about quite easily to take advantage of the weather conditions. When I have finished using them this growing season then I can pack them away and they take up very little room.
