This is a nice product. HOWEVER.... (this is especially for our of country, aka: Canadian) consumers beware.... this pot started to chip and pieces of the enamel coating are letting go from the bottom. Contacted seller who got us in contact with distributor. All agree that shouldn’t happen ... and it was within warranty timeline... now they will send us a replacement ONLY if we send back the faulty item, which is going to cost upwards of 80 + Canadian dollars. They refuse to allow us to destroy or prove we have rendered the item unuseable as a compromise to returning.... and they will not cover shipping... so while... yes, they are doing as promised. They are making it as financially unreasonable as possible for the “warranty” to be fulfilled. Do yourself a favor, buy local so if something goes wrong you aren’t left in this situation. Not a high quality item. Not reasonable company that supplies the seller. Not sure if it would be more reasonable to ship if you lived in the states... but it’s a very heavy product, which may account for why it’s so expensive to return via post.

I had this dutch about a week and had only cooked two meals in it when a big flake of enamel came off the bottom exposing bare cast iron. It appears as if a thin hairline crack in the enamel gave way to heat from the element. Very strange and I had taken great care with this pot, which was nice to cook with. I guess you get what you pay for, but this is very poor quality and I was so excited when it arrived. Beautiful, but with issues.

Came with LARGE chips of the ceramic. We handwashed it and more ceramic chipped off of it. We too read the reviews and thought maybe the few people with chips was a fluke, but now I’m regret this purchase and am returning it. The chipping effects the heat distribution of the Dutch oven, therefore if the pot continues to chip, you’re not going to have an even cook and the true “Dutch oven” effect.

The Dutch oven is everything I expected. Love the color, the size, and it does work for induction burners. But there was quite a bit of damage on it when I received it in the mail. Most of the damage is on the outside with a small crack in the inside where the handle is. I chose not to return it because it is so very heavy and it would cost me a small fortune to send it back. I'm hoping the damage will not affect the cooking. I can live with some paint removed from the outside but somewhat concerned about the inside of the pot.

Según America's Test Kitchen quedó en el tercer lugar en sus pruebas (aunque ellos probaron las redondas y yo la elegí ovalada). Pero tiene más puntos en durabilidad que su número dos y el número uno el Le Creuset. La diferencia es el espacio en el fondo para poder sofreír tandas de carne por ejemplo. Yo prefiero que dure más el esmalte, la verdad es que es muy bonita y ya hemos cocinado con ella, funciona perfectamente, se lava facilísimo. Estamos encantados. El precio no se puede comparar con la marca del primer lugar pero su funcionamiento es equivalente. Así que fue una excelente compra. Ya veremos en unos 5 años.
