5 STARS ABSOLUTELY!!! I was getting a different (more expensive) brand on subscribe and save thru Amazon until they were out of stock. This brand, "Double Date," was substituted (with my approval) and I was a bit hesitate when they arrived, assuming the quality would be effected due to the lower cost (almost $10 in savings). However, THEY WERE EVEN BETTER!! Two of these delicious dates and a glass of Amond milk is my breakfast every morning and I am a happy camper! We'll worth the price! I keep a small container at room temperature and they are soft, moist and satisfying. I keep the rest of the box in the fridge. For me, they are PERFECT.

I just received these today (May 29, 2025) They are FANTASTIC. Plump, moist, sweet, fresh. Everything I hoped they would be. Very happy with the price abd quality. The reviews made me nervous because some people talked about them not being great, but they're so yummy! 😋

I use tons of dates and these are by far the best tasting, freshest, largest, soft smooth dates I ever eaten. I've purchased two boxes so far, and will buy more!!!

Had purchased this brand previously and smaller 1-2 pound bags . This 5 pound box was a disappointment. The dates are so dried out and tasteless. There is no protective wrapping on it. It’s just a box that was taped shot that had a piece of parchment paper on it. That was halfway out the top before I even opened it. Very very disappointing. I hate to waste food, but I’ll probably just throw these away.

If I could give these six stars I would. I have ordered many of the other brands on here and they were OK. They were just fine. I ordered the 5 pound box of these, which by the way are not pitted. These are the best dates I have ever eaten in my entire life. Each one is plump, luscious, and tender, bursting with flavor and high and sugar. These are the best dates I have ever eaten. Just like candy. If the quality remains consistent, I am hooked for life.

Plump, big, fresh and delicious!!!! Only problem I had was I failed to see that they still have pitts in them so be careful when you bite into them! Probably won’t buy them again because of the pitts which is a bummer because they are delicious.

One thing to note: the dates in the five-pound box still have the pits in them, although the one- or two-pound bags from the same company are pitted. However, the pits are extremely simple to remove, and the dates themselves are beyond compare. I had to wait about 10 days for my most recent box, so I bought a different brand to bridge the gap, and those dates were terrible — dry, crumbly, almost tasteless. Double Dates are so soft and so sweet. Get them.
