The vine is made of sturdy light green plastic. Cutting it, if so desired, keeps the strand intact, no flowers come apart. Used whole strands to create an 18’ cornice for a wedding pergola. Hot glued it to styrofoam. Must hold in place until glue dries because plastic strand is rigid. Then zip tied the cornice to the horizontal 1”x6” slat on top of the pergola. It was not as full as the hydrangea strands used, made with twine instead of a plastic vine, but it is pretty and classy. It can be made to look as Hawaiian leis or mixed with others to almost look like hydrangeas. The photo has a combination of these strands and hydrangea strands, all glued to the styrofoam.

They did have a smell. Like being packed next to dried fish...which is such a pity not sure what happened. I simply put them out under my patio umbrella and the smell went away. They seem perfectly clean other than the smell. After two days can't smell it at all. It was a little hard to untie to separate them. Maybe taping the strings with painters tape (light adhesive tape) to keep them from getting tangled would have helped. I still like them a lot. My sister loves them. Went right up to them and put her face in them. I didn't tell her the back story on them.

SO NOT WHAT I EXPECTED WHAT THE PICTURE IS SO LESS OF MATERIAL THAT YOU WILL RECEIVE AND MOST OF ALL ONCE I OPENED THE PACKAGE ONE OF THE HAD THE STRING MISSING FROM IT AND IT LOOKED LIKE SOMEONE JUST GAVE ME PETALS IT WASN'T TOGETHER OR I WAS SENT A HORRIBLE PACK.

I wouldn’t buy again it wasn’t what I expected. It wasn’t as long as expected and they came tied in knots so when I cut them some flower petal fell off. I’m a crafter , so I made use of them.

I have purchase several different brands of these for an upcoming wedding. These are by far the best quality, best shape , and the color is great. They get expensive ( more like a small fortune) considering how many you need to buy to get the fullness that looks so great in pictures. If the price was more reasonable, I'd give them 5 stars.
