Anyone who has ever installed a Samsung Frame or any other similar design knows that you have to deal with the "One Connect" box, it's the power supply and input jack pack, it's also about 13" wide by about 4.5" by about 2.5" , so if you are lucky enough to to have an equipment cabinet below the tv, then great your install will be pretty easy, but most folks who spend the extra money for the "Frame" will not have anything below as it will detract from it aesthetically. In this case there was a high tech electric fireplace below so no chance of having any kind of furniture to hide the One connect box. So Plan B, mount the One Connect behind the frame in the wall, this box worked perfect. I was able to relocated the power outlet to one of two optional locations in the box, the wall was framed 16" on center so this box fit perfectly between the studs, the One Connect fit prefect inside the box with room for hdmi and power connections and still plenty of room to breath. the slit in the face plate was excellent to pass the control cable from the One Connect to the Frame and the slim fit (maybe 1/8" ) did not interfere with the Frame being flush with the wall, it was a clean install and the Frame hung as it was designed! Will definitely use on the next Frame install!!!

Legrand is well known for its quality and price. This in-wall unit is a perfect storage for DYI home networking enthusiast. Perfectly hides modem, mesh, and switch inside it. Love it!!!

Fit exactly in between studs. Served my purpose perfectly, which was to hide the Samsung OneConnect box. Would buy again!

Great product. Totally cleaned up my installation. Would have appreciated a little more insight on how they intended for an electrical box to be attached to it.

I used this to enclose a satellite Unifi switch. Fits nice and secure between 16" on-center studs and has convenient perforated holes for a variety of installations.

Exactly what I needed to achieve the clean and sleek look I wanted. I built a custom fireplace for my townhouse and wanted to mount the TV without seeing any of the components. My electrician installed a power outlet into the box and I was able to hide the wi-fi router in it as well. The plastic is very strong and installation to the studs over the drywall was very easy. Xfinity upgraded my wi-fi router to a slightly larger one and I was able to cut out the necessary holes to make everything fit without compromising the integrity. I didnt need to use the covers but kept them just in case. I highly recommend.

The 17” Legrand - OnQ Cable Management, Structured Media Enclosure worked well for holding Samsung One Connect box, electric and hdmi/cat cables behind my tv. It was mostly easy to install and held everything with plenty of room to spare. I’m sure it would hold a streaming box as well as the One Connect if needed. I didn’t use the included mounting brackets, choosing instead to just screw into the wall studs through the screw hole tabs on the sides of the enclosure. I’m only giving it 3 stars because it’s way over priced for an empty plastic box with cable/electric cut outs and pop on face plates (which I also didn’t use). It doesn’t come with any accessories for mounting stuff inside or gaskets for the cable cutouts. Both can be purchased separately, but for $55 they should be included. I took off another star because the electric box cutout didn’t fit any metal or plastic electric boxes sold at either of the big box stores. I’m not an electrician, so I may be missing something, but I tried every metal single gang electric box sold at big orange and none lined up with the mounting holes on the media enclosure. I had to add small washers to the metal electric box wing mounts to get them to line up with the mounting holes on the cutout. That worked fine, but was a huge pita and wasted a ton of my time. So in summary, it’s a bare bones, overpriced plastic media enclosure with a non-standard, for me at least, electric cutout that does get the job done and now has a permanent place hidden behind my tv. .

Sort of retrofit as wall was plastered, I was like I love these frame tv and HATE even the ‘invisible’ cord and I don’t have anything other than app tv like Netflix n prime. So poor dad whacked the hell out of my wall exactly to the sizing on the ad. Fit like a dream. Coz it’s a retrofit we lined with visqueen and tape. Bosh. Got the Samsung the frame 65” n it’s brill. Chose JL for it as free wall thing and fitting: lads were here a good 90 mins so it was worth it. Absolutely this item elevates my look.
