Funskool Othello & Funskool Memory Match and Move - 5+ Years

I had purchased it to give it to my grand mother. After many months i visited her place and we began to play this ,only to realise she had received either a fake model or it was highly of cheap quality. The discs dont fit in the squares of the board. The discs have black and white color coming out and sharp edged discs with no finishing. The entire look of it is so cheap.I felt so bad that i couldnt give my grandmother a nicer piece.

Contrary to what the other reviews say here, I think this game set is actually good. You see, I was already much into chess but I also wanted to explore a bit of other strategic games available so I went for this.The Game is pretty interesting one can easily and effortlessly learn it how I quite doubt that many adults wouldn't even find this easy to master. The Game is challenging as well as compelling to play.To say of the product its Good.All is as I wanted it, however a more detailed explanation about the game can be provided and how to play it, although one can learn it from Youtube easily.Overall I really liked this product and you can go for it if you are looking for something new to try.

Plastic bag holding discs was already torn and had a strand of hair...as expected 8 discs were missing. Terribly dissapointed.

Update: replacement arrived and one coin missing. Maybe I should have kept a few coins before returning the previous one 😉. Keeping this one since there is now no guarantee hope many coins I'll get the next time.Original review: Only 59 (vs 64) coins in the box. Bought this as a gift but we decided to keep it for ourselves..fortunately because we found 5 coins missing. Would have been a bad gift if found by the recipient.Hard to believe such missing coins.Also the coins are not well made too.

Wonderful childhood memories of playing this game... I expect it to be as enthralling for my kid as well.Also, this arrived without any surface packaging at all, just a brown envelope stuck on it saying something about Amazon trying to reduce packaging material and saving the environment. So very inspiring except when I removed the sticker, I noticed it had been strategically stuck to conceal a giant hole in the box... well played!

It was so disappointing and embarrassing that a renowned brand funskool don't care to check it's products. I send this piece to my nephew on his birthday before time, it was packed properly as company provides and when he opened it on birthday, found that instead of 64 discs only 63 discs were inside the box. By the time he opened it, the return period was already expired.Not at all satisfied with the company and will not go for it's products in future.

This is actually a5 star product, the only reason why i have not give 5 star is that some plastic pieces which was in the box used keeping points ( i think ) is actually manufactured pretty bad. When we call a product 5 star everything in the box should be 5 star. making the unimportant one in a very cheap way only translates to the manufacturers mentality to reduce cost. This is what many people do in India, make it cheap and sell it at cheap price. That's okay for cheap people and not for everybody else.

The game's tagline "a minute to learn ... a lifetime to master", is very apt. The game can keep the players engaged for a long time. Very good for children to learn strategy. Only thing is that some more extra counters could have been provided (only three are not enough) so that even if kids lose them, the board will not be wasted. Anyway, Rs 500+ is quite a steep price for just a plastic board and 60 odd plastic disks :)

Box totally smashed up, but Grandson enjoyed it anyways. Just disappointed it was not in good condition, especially for the price of this item.~~~
