Does exactly what it says. Probably my 5th version of this specific item, maybe 20th overall (of ever-increasing strength) in the past 25+ years. I use them constantly. Originally for developing finger dexterity for guitar playing, now also to relieve the stiffness from developing arthritis. Make sure you buy a lower tension model before starting with this one.

Easy to use Great design

I have XL hands and got the Pro heavy tension. I really like it and it is just about perfect for working on grip strength. The tension was about right. I can collapse it almost completely, but only a few times so far. I did notice what others had pointed out about the little fingers being overpowered by having the same spring as the others. However, I found that the placement of the little bump on the bottom is critical. After moving it around in my palm, I found a location that almost equalized the action, making the little fingers almost as effective as the others. I am very satisfied with this product and will get the next up in the series after gaining strength in my forearms.

Some other products don’t offer much for finger strength. Your products is good for strength and tension level.

After using this, every couple days, my hand strength has greatly increased. A couple sets of 12 to 15 reps works for me. Just start out with the proper tension one for you and start slow with 5 or 6 reps and build up. Got a nice strong handshake now and open jars, etc, with NO problem! It also strengthens your forearm muscles.

I personally didnt care for this , I personally need more of a resistanstance for myself and in my opinion its over priced

Husband plays guitar and is on a computer all day. He use to fiddle with the lower red one but found it too easy now. He said this was a great upgrade and challenged the strength in his fingers and wrists again.
