Great replacement blades for a utility x-acto knife
I like having a few extra blades around so I feel free to dispose of my current blade as soon as it starts getting dull. I tend to work with some rough materials, especially when using the utility blades, so I go through them pretty often. Having a fair few extras means that I can sacrifice a blade whenever I need to, I just dull the old one up on a whetstone to remove any residual edge before tossing it.These are fine - they hold up through a job or two, then get replaced. Fit the larger knife without issue, lock right into place. Will probably buy them again when I run out. Would recommend.

Strong and thick compared to generic brands
Very heavy weight. I was expecting something thin and bendable like the generic blades of this type. Pleasently surprised by the strength and sharpness of the product. I use these as a scraper for my 3d printer. It gets under the finished prints easily to release them from the heat bed. I usually snap a generic blade every 10 or so prints. I've just used one of these xacto blades on about 30 prints so far. Overall great value for me.

Happy To Find Replacement X-Acto Blades On Amazon!
I live in Bogota, Colombia and have been looking for X-Acto replacement blades for some time. I have looked in a few Asian countries as well, but had been unable to find them until I did a search on Amazon, with the correct size for the handle I use. I was delighted to find a pack of 5 (they actually last for ages, so I do not need more for the time being), and at an excellent price. I added them to one of my order lists. They arrived as expected. I've used one of the blades. It works perfectly well! Thank you Amazon!

Another great blade, but NOT a toy.
I use a 1/2 dozen or so different blades that X-Acto make. These blades are oxidized to preserve the blade's edge and prevents rusting. I can attest to that as I have had some of these laying around for literally years, and are still as good as new. I also use them in situations that use water (while carving plaster castings for example). They are sturdy and strong, but I couldn't find the 100 pack available, so I compromised and bought 5 of the 5 packs, still, less than half price of 1/2 a 100 pack's cost. Not bad at all (but I noticed the price went back up by $1.10 since then). Despite that, these blades are great for uses that a chisel type action is needed.Having just seen their web site, they make a new #11 blade that is coated with zirconium nitride to make it the sharpest [their words] blade on the market. Can't wait to try these. This review first asked me: "How much fun is this toy" "How durable is this toy", but I have to point out, more for Amazon than anything, that this IS NOT A TOY!. It is a very sharp blade used to cut paper, plaster, wood and plastics. Please regard these blades with all the respect a surgeon would of his. Having said that, don't be afraid of them either, just use due caution. Over some 35 plus years, I have to say I only cut through skin once. That was all I needed.

Cheap low quality blades, not sharp
These blades came out of the package and weren't razor sharp. The tips are even slightly bent. The packaging paper, plastic and printing all looks very cheap. They could be knock offs. Either way, they aren't very good blades. Try a different vendor.

Re-Ordering these blades is much better than sharpening them yourself
The pack of chisels arrived quickly after order. Razor sharp and hold their edge well. I have ordered these before and will order more when I deplete the supply. Re-Ordering these blades is much better than sharpening them yourself. For those ordering for the first time, make sure you are ordering blades for the #18 handle - which is larger than the standard X-Acto handle.

X-Acto Extra Fine blade is Good- But...
The X-Acto blade has such shallow teeth and they cut both directions. The blade would be much more effective if the teeth were deeper and only cut on the pull stroke. The saw dust would clear out easier and you would have quicker, more controlled cuts. It cuts ok, but the Excel extra fine blade cuts faster- it is 1/2 in. shorter than the X-Acto blade though and has a few less teeth per inch.I hope X-Acto will improve there miter box as well, the slots are much wider than their blades, and it would be helpful if there were two counter-sunk holes to mount the miter box with so a single little clamp could hold the item securely! -Bruce

They're good, but a oily...
This #26 blade worked well for my needs, I had to cut evenly through some foam tubing and these blades were the perfect length. The only problem is they do have a light coating of oil on them so be sure to clean them before use.

forever fearing a blade tip breaking off and landing in my eye
if you need a lot of blades buy the bulk pack of 100, the blades are not the quality that x-acto once was. the 'super sharp' tips will often break off once or even twice leaving you with an unusable blade which needs to be changed often. i really wish we had better options through amazon (for other blades) because these blades are constantly breaking on me and i cut paper, in straight lines.

Disappointed
Hopefully it was just a mistake, but the listing says its a 5-pack, but I only had two blades in my pack. The blades work fine, but not what I paid for.
