Crock-PotCrock Pot Artisan 13 Inch Enameled Cast Iron Lasagna Pan, Scarlet Red

DO NOT BUY... having used this once I went to clean it and, after seasoning it (alongside another cast iron Pan) there was mass of sticky residue. Having now scrubbed with different cleaning products and ruined a pair of rubber gloves the residue is still clear to see. Really angry that Amazon would endorse such a faulty product

Very pleased with this new Lasagna pan. It is good and heavy cast iron, arrived in perfect condition, not a scratch, no chips, no dings, beautiful enamel finish. Every Christmas we make Lasagna for a Christmas party and on a daily basis we make a lot of casseroles...this is perfect! I love enamel covered cast iron. I am safety concious not only about what I eat but also what I cook it in. A lot of metal pans out there are unsafe and toxic...so I only use cast iron and ceramic/glass cookwares to be sure we are not poisoning our healthy food. This is a great new addition to our kitchen here...we love it!

I have to send it back. It seems like a beautiful sturdy pan and it cooks the food fine, but there is a strange smell and taste that permeates the food. I cleaned and oiled it properly but it still stinks. Kind of metallic and chemical. Also, when wiping it down, the cloth turned black. So I boiled water and vinegar in it, rinsed, dried, and oiled it. The smell is still present and each time I wipe it the cloth comes up black. I'm not sure what they've treated or coated the pan with but it ain't good.

I absolutely love this pan. Used it today to cook bacon out on the BBQ and then threw in some eggs...It was great. Then roasted chicken wings inside my roaster oven. Browned the food while keeping it moist and juicy. I love that it actually is well seasoned and the food released easily, not something cast iron typically does right away. I highly recommend this pan. I will find excuses to use it!

The size advertised is wrong. It read it was 4+" deep not true. This is a basic size lasagna pan. Looks great well built. But too small for us. Now have to ship back :( the sides tapper to the bottom. It's only 2 1/4" deep. See photos for the real size.
