GREAT for vacation home!!!
This thermometer is great for a vacation home or somewhere that needs to be monitored. I only gave it four stars instead of five because any time you unplug it, it reverts back to Celsius. Since I am placing this in a vacation home, if the electricity flickers, I will have no choice but to reset my notifications to Celsius, since I will have no way to hit the reset button. Also, the screen numbers are kinda light and difficult to read. I like that it plugs in, again, great for vacation home. Also, it integrates into SmartThings. For the price, you can't beat this thermometer!

Easy setup and works well.
I bought this to use on my houseboat. This allows me to see wintertime temperatures from my home and use smart plugs to turn on/off heaters to prevent freezing damage to waterlines and engines during particularly cold spells. The wifi thermometer was easy to set up on my wifi system and smart phone.

Temperature accuracy failed after 4 months
Worked great for about 4 months. Then one day it generated an "overtemp alert" on my iPhone. I looked at the device and it showed a temperature that was more than two degrees higher than the actual room temperature. I called product support in China (800 number). The young lady was friendly but ultimately unable to resolve the issue. It is junk, as I can no longer depend on it to properly notify me if the AC goes out when I am away for a few months, since it now is constantly generating overtemp alerts. I guess I got what I paid for.

Poor Quality Control
I asked for and got one for Christmas. I set it up and it worked perfectly, including Alexa providing temperature or humidity when asked. I immediately ordered a second one. When I set it up it would only provide temperature via Alexa stating that humidity is not supported. I returned it and got another. I set it up and it responds with temperature, but says humidity is not supported yet. I'll keep the second one although it doesn't function as advertised, nor is it what I was expecting. My goal is to be able to ask Alexa for information at night with the lights out and hear the results. I am not sure why Amazon ships with a Lithium Ion label on the box. Clearly there is NO battery in this device. When unplugged, the display is off. When power is returned, it connects to the internet to get time and provide temperature information via Alexa, except the first one which also provides humidity information via Alexa. It should be noted that you must have the USB power adapter. It ships with the necessary USB cable, but not a power adapter. These are easily available on Amazon.

Not Vert Smart
One sensor went offline after about a week and won't connect. I thought these were a Kasa brand because it's the only brand mentioned, but they are not. They are the same sensors as a set I had purchased only about a month previously that didn't work either. The only difference being these have a display and must be plugged into a USB, no battery options. Even while they are working, automations you habe set up do not work 90% of the time. For example, if you have an outlet connected to a fan and set an automation for it to be turned on if the sensor reads over 78, it can rise to over 82 for several hours and never turn on. Someone needs to make a good sensor for automations. I've researched over a dozen, and most only read temperature, but don't do conditional operations.
