Q: Is there an adapter to bottom opening that would allow connection of 3" conduit pipe to fit the opening on bottom of case?

Hello, the size of the sealing plate hole at the bottom of this Steel Enclosure is 6.6*1.9 inches, and it cannot pass through a 3-inch conduit.

Q: Can I use to this install a tankless water heater?

It is a very nice box but a tankless water heater should come in it’s own box

Q: are these available without the gland plate?

The bottom of this Electrical Box itself has a sealing plate, and if you don't need it, you can DIY it according to your own needs.
