Good price, bad remote.
Loads of lights for the money, but the receiver for the remote is flakey. I would estimate that the remote only works about 60% of the time. So far, unplugging the lights and plugging them back in has restored the remote to working order, but I will probably try to find a different remote control mechanism.

The price on these was great when I purchased and one string completely overtook our 7 foot Christmas tree. The wire is very fine on all of these types of lights but I own a soldering iron and I'm not afraid to use it, LOL. That said, I haven't had to on this brand yet. Just roll the lights around a rectangle of cardboard as you unwrap your tree and they will stay untangled.

These are great!
These worked great! I was able to wrap the lights around a three foot tree with no problem. I also love the fact that you can adjust the brightness and change the twinkle pattern. These are great,
