I will update this after 3 months, 6 months and a year. I am 5'10 and weigh 335 lbs. We removed the mattress from it's shipping box and rolled the well packed item to the bedroom. Absolutely no chemical smells at all. Using a traditional oak bed frame and box spring we put it on it and opened the package. Easily done, it gently sprang to life. It was 11 1/2" deep and after 6 hrs. of rest opened to 12 1/2". As I had no real choice I had to use it for the night. OMG so soft, but firm. I have sciatica so I was hoping this would help. After a week I can truthfully say I'm no worse and have spent every night in comfort. The only complaint I have is the mattress doesn't really have a firm "edge" to sit on, I have to kind of roll into the middle. Looking at it each morning and measuring I find it springs back to it's original shape. Perhaps at a later date it might not considering my excess weight, but we shall see. I haven't noticed any "overheating" either because of the material. So far its been money well spent for a wonderful, comfortable nights rest. I have been through two $1000 mattresses in 5 years, so this is a bargain if I onlybuy a few of these. Don't be afraid of the horror stories about unwrapping and setting up, the package arrived UPS in good condition. See you later.****UPDATE-3 MONTHS**** A solid 12" all around, still firm like I need it. No noticeable smell from day 1 or now. No lumps developing on it either. We reverse the mattress every 30 days and all is, as it was the first week. With my weight is the "real" test. Still comfortable and keeps me happy. See you at the end of 6 months.****UPDATE 6 MONTHS**** Everything still great. No complaints, still 12"+ and no bumps or lumps. ****UPDATE 9 MONTHS****Still 12", no lumps or bumps, enjoying a restful sleep. I do rotate it once a month as a precaution. See you at the end of 12 months****UPDATE 1 YEAR****All is well, still going strong, very pleased. I'll buy again if this EVER wears out !!!***** UPDATE 15 Months*****All is well, still going strong.*****UPDATE 18 Months*****Still retains its original features, money well spent.*****UPDATE 2 YEARS, 2 MONTHS*****Still comfortable, now weigh 350 lb. No lumps or bumps, (on the matteress)*****UPDATE 3 YEARS, 6 MONTHS, Getting a little lumpy in places, move it around hides it, unfortunately I am now 370 lb. but still happy to get a great, restful sleep

This may be long. We decided we wanted to try to upgrade from a queen sized bed to a king sized bed. My wife has degenerative discs in her lower back and experiences a lot of back pain. We have 2 small dogs that sleep with us. Just wasn't enough room in the queen bed to allow her to get comfortable. So we wanted to try out a king sized bed on the cheap. We bought a used king sized bed that shockingly matches the rest of bedroom furniture. We read great reviews about this mattress. We got it. I opened it and let it decompress for a full week as the instructions stated. The mattress seemed a little flimsy to me so I had serious doubts. We bought a metal box frame and assembled it so it could fit inside our bedframe. The metal box frames seems to give more support than the old wooden ones. We've been sleeping on the new mattress for 5 weeks now. I have to say we are shocked with the quality. It is firm every where except the very edges of the mattress. Very supportive. We both sleep much better than we were sleeping on our less than 5 year old orthopedic coil spring mattress. It really is comfortable. My wife is able to sleep soundly on it rather than waking up every hour or two and then struggling to get back to sleep. Caveat. I do not think this mattress will last more than 5 years. I could be mistaken. However, at the price we paid, I will still be highly satisfied if it lasts even 4 years. We paid $1,500 for our last mattress and never slept well on it after a year. The mattress before that lasted 14 years (King Koil). I think all in we spent $1,000 including the bed frame, the box spring, mattress, sheets, pillow cases, pillows, blanket and comforter. Highly recommend the bamboo king sized pillows btw. Great for side sleepers or sleepers with neck pain. Don't dismiss it because the mattress is so cheap. It's great so far!

I bought this bed about 9 months ago. Due to its outrageously cheap pricetag i wanted to wait to make sure it was going to hold up before posting a review.Before buying this I spent MONTHS researching mattresses. It was really doing my head in, did I want spring could? Gel? Soft firm? Financially it's best to buy on the internet, but you have to really just hope it's what you want, so it was a difficult decision. The day was fast approaching that I needed to have made that decision when I found this one. It was just about the best reviewed in any price range, plus it was EVERYTHING, individually wrapped coils, memory foam AND gel, plus 13 inches seemed nice and thick. So i ordered it. A year later i still cant say enough good things about it. If id paid a thousand bucks for it i would still be happy, but i didnt, i paid $237!!! If you have been shopping around you know you can barely get sheets for that price! I still cant believe it almost a year later.It as plush, but still very firm, you sink into the plush but supported by the springs. We spend a LOT of time in bed, way more than the average person, and its standing up to it just fine. The spring provide enough bounce for sexy time, but I am still undisturbed when he gets out of bed, well it is a little disturbing when I realize he isn't in bed, because that's how good it is, I never even feel him get up. I will say this, the guy who delivers it is going to be giving you a REALLY dirty look, do not expect any favors from him, he does not like you much that day. The boxbis big, cumbersome and very heavy. Opening the box and watching It spring to life was mot even close to as exciting as it had been described in nearly every review, I filmed it, gathered friends to gaze at it's splendor...there was no splendor, the unboxing was extremely anticlimactic, but the bed? Jeez Louise, don't look any further buy this one...BUY THIS ONE...FOR REAL. (If you are in any way capable of being happy) YOU WILL BE VERY HAPPY.>>2024 UPDATE<<Ok so a bed at that price point that is super awesome out of the box? Sure but time will tell right?Well I have had this bed for 6 years now. It is our main bed that we sleep in every night. Are you on the edge of your seat? You should be because it is not often you get to find out how it is with some mileage.Well guys, I am very pleased to tell you that it is still just like new! Can you believe that? At this price point. This may be the greatest purchase of my life. Honestly I was expecting a few years out of it. If it lasted 2 years even, I’d still consider it money well spent, but it has been six years and it is going strong. It is a bit on the soft side but this brand makes a ton of different varieties. I like it soft. I have turned several friends onto it and they bought it and they are all as stoked about it as we are. So yes, 6 years later it is going strong with no sign of losing steam. Great mattress and best deal on the planet!

Sturdy mattress and great quality for the price. Will buy more in the future.
