Steak Knife Set 6-piece Stainless Steel Serrated Edges, Wood Handles and Presentation Case

I just received my beautiful knives today. I was concerned they would be light and/or flimsy, but determined they were one of the heaviest knives I had selected from Amazon and the internet in general. Turns out, they are absolutely beautiful, extremely solid and substantial, and heavy, but the perfect weight which tells the holder that this knife is well made of high quality materials. Truth is, I've never held a steak knife of this caliber. They seem to be a bargain at $39.9? for six. I wanted genuine rose wood handles, but the pakka wood turned out to be the more practical and economical choice, and will hold their beauty far longer. There just seemed to be far too many people complaining about problems with the natural wood handles on steak knives. These are the best steak knives I've ever used, and give them my highest recommendation. Bye the way, the photos in Amazon do not nearly reflect the quality and substantial beauty of these knives. I was happily surprised when I opened mine today. I haven't been compensated for this review in any way....but it's not too late.

These knives are very sharp, good quality, came in a nice wood box (which I use for storage) and very reasonably priced. I love the wood handles -- classy looking and very sturdy. I would recommend this set.Was delivered in a short time frame. Good service!

The knives themselves look outstanding. Sharp serrated edges, clean wooden handle. I specifically bought this because of the storage case. These are intended to be the "good steak knives" at my future mother in laws, but the box is very poorly assembled AND has a huge crack through the bottom. Waiting for customer service to respond, but if they want me to send it back I wont have it fir the holidays. Try explaining that to your Fiance.

I like the knives this is the first time I spent a little more $ money on a good set, I have always just bought a real cheap set, but these are very nice, looks, weight and sharpness. Why the 3stars? because the case even though nice looking wood , the cover will not close properly to tight and cant close the clasp along with a wide gap between top and bottom. May have to return still have time, haven't made a decission yet, like the knives but problems with case.

I made a last minute decision to serve beef for a dinner party - my main concern was getting 12 steak knives in 24 hours, I did not expect to get something that I would really love! I not only received them in just a few hours, but they are also beyond my expectations. These are really solid and heavy but not industrial, but rather elegant and certainly look like they cost much more than they did. I know we will enjoy them for many years.

So hey they're sharp, and they'll cut meat. The wood looks nice too.. But that's where it stops. The metal of the knives extends past the wood in every way, including the rivets. The box is laughably made, I've seen better dovetails out of a 6th grade woodshop, and the top and bottom don't even cover to the edges leaving gaps. Is it a $40 knifeset? Nope. I'd suggest the amazon basics set over these ASIN=B00R3Z4CWC

Just got the knives. They came in a well made box. The knives themselves were individually wrapped with the blades protected. We like their size as some steak knives are just too big and clumsy to handle. We did try one of the knives and they cut the piece of steak very well. One thing I did not find and would like to know - the proper way to care for them? Can they go in the dishwasher? By the way --thank you for the prompt shipment of the knives. We look forward to using them.

I bought this for a Christmas gift. The box is finger-jointed very poorly. The catch is extremely difficult to engage or disengage. The bottom half of the box appears larger than the top half. One corner is cracked and nearly torn off. Another corner has a manufacturing defect; the saw cut incorrectly! It is made of solid wood. But poorly dried solid wood. I can see where the top half of the box is warping upward, away from the catch. I briefly looked at a knife which looked about what I expected. I think it is probably a good knife. But I'm sending it back because of the box.
