Valve Cover PCV Diaphragm Repair Kit Replacement for 2007-2016 Volvo S60 S80 V60 XC60 XC70 XC90 3.0L Land Rover LR2 3.2L

Having read reviews on another seemingly better-known brand not fitting and seeing the same mentioned in a YouTube video, I'm happy to report this cap does in fact fit correctly. Low-cost option and (relatively) simple installation. Good way to save money on repairs that can be done at home by most people.

This item actually fit unlike the Dorman one but the diaphragm is flimsy and makes a kazoo like noise.

The OEM unit had cracked, and there was a leak. The factory unit was sold as an assembly and was over $100. Since the cover was fine, this was a perfect fit. Outside of the logo can't tell it isn't OEM.

The fitment was perfectly fine. I noticed the rubber diaphragm itself felt a tad thicker than the stock one that had torn. I figured OK it might last longer but almost immediately after installing it I could still hear a “womp womp womp” noise although much more subtle than before (with the torn one) it was still there. The vacuum seemed fine though so I really didnt think much of it until 3 days later and I could still hear it, especially on a cold start. It just drove (no pun intended) nuts! So i bought another one but with the same orange/red colored diaphragm as the stock one and so far no noise! So maybe this one isnt really great for the volvo P3 T6 engines?

I replaced a less sturdy PCV box with the original that I cleaned with degreaser. Because I changed the box I put the replacement diaphragm and cap on. My Turbo engine had PCV problem symptoms (burping sound and lean engine code—bad gas mileage) with the diaphragm and I put the Dorman replacement diaphragm I had installed last year back in. It might just have needed to be taken out and slightly adjusted, but I have noted that many After-Market diaphragms aren’t quite right for the Turbo version of my car. I will keep this as a back up, but I’m not convinced that it can work in the Turbo version (my car was included in the fitment list.)

I purchased ths for my 2010 Volvo S80 and fit was great! Highly recommended. I orginally purchased the Doorman brand and did not fit. It was very easy to replace versus replacing the complete oil trap assembly.

Funciono bien para mi volvo S60 T6, quedo perfecto y me tomo 5 minutos cambiarlo. El cambio se realizó por precaución/mantenimiento, por el momento todo excelente.
