A superb product
I use the 3M Bristle disc products for removing rust from yard tools and for cleaning/refurbishing my gas grill burners and flame tamers. they easily remove baked on drippings from the stainless steel substrate of the burners and flame tamers - which is far better than replacing them. The Bristle discs do not load up like sand paper, nor remove stock. since the polypropylene fingers are constantly exposing fresh mineral materials to assure a uniform job. They come in 3 colors: white, least aggressive; yellow, moderately aggressive and green, most aggressive.

Gasket removal
These worked great for me on removing old gaskets. I got these so the aluminum head wouldn’t get damaged. But the whole engine is aluminum ,so I used it on all the gaskets that needed replaced.

Maybe bought for wrong pupose
I bought these because it was recommended to remove head gasket adhesive residue from my engine block. It didn’t do anything. Tried it on other engine parts too like intake manifold and didn’t remove anything. Guess it just isn’t the right stuff.

Lacking…Quality
Product was first sent to me by Seller, USED…Second package, first few minutes, almost HALF of the exterior bristles flew off… product quality is completely and utterly substandard… Buyer beware.

As described
Works good on a surface that you don't want aggressive sanding grinding.I only used it on a gasket surface ,can't say how it would work on anything else.

Not great
These things fell apart on the first use. Die grinder is set at lowest setting and it is losing brush tips before it even takes off the silicone etc. I expected better as I have used 3M ones in the past with no issues.
