It looks like a peace of piss pine from a pallet that was colored gray. It is cheaply make , as you can see by the staple nails in the corners. I can not help and wonder how long this frame will last. Not sure if it is real glass or not I did not see it in the description. Looks to me that you can only use the first picture you place in it. The small metal holders are flimsy and seems it will only work on the first closing of the back of the frame. Would be better to have a saw tooth hanger. Buyer be ware.

I had some pictures from our nature walks that I wanted to frame with something more natural looking than a traditional frame and these worked great. The wood has grain and knots and nice detail and is sturdier than most frames at this price point. And you get two. I chose the grey option and it looks great. The frame is nicely constructed and the tabs are sturdy and strong. Seems like a quality item.

This frame is so beautiful. If you are looking for a smooth frame this isn't it. This is a rough wood frame (what I wanted). I love that it has actual glass and not plastic/plexiglass. It fit my 8x10 photo perfectly. I'm not super crazy about the holders in the back that actually hold everything in place because they are the metal kind you have to bend up and down. I like that the frame can be hung up or displayed on a tabletop. Overall, this is a nice rustic frame for the price.

My kids wanted to frame the picture taken with their horse at camp so i bought 2 frames to match. One of them turned out ok. The other had huge splinters sticking out and the frame was only partially stained, which looked terrible. I still wanted matching frames so I requested a replacement. Once again, huge splinters coming off and one of the edges was missing some stain. It looked as it a piece of wood fell of and so the stain came off with it as well. I returned that one and once again tried to buy another one. This last one that was sent was even worse than the other two. A piece of the wood looked as if it was going to fall off and there were literally holes in the wood on all sides. I get that wood can have knots, but there was a gaping hole on one side with very sharp edges. I will have to give up on trying to have a matching frame.

I recently took a picture of our exchange student while on a camping trip in Oklahoma (Beavers Bend), and I wanted the perfect frame for this. I was thrilled to find a locally sourced frame from BarnwoodUSA, and was thrilled to receive it. The look and feel is just like I expected. The wood is weathered and has all the look and feel of an old piece of wood. You do have to be careful with splinters as the wood is not treated (sealed). The picture looks great in it. Hoping it gives me a lot of years of enjoyment.

The frame works well for a late1930’s photo of my father and me. The little clips that hold the backing to the frame are very difficult to manage if your hands are arthritic. The back of the frame is pretty torn up, so I would not recommend using it to stand we’re the back would show. It does suit the timeframe of the picture.

I have previously purchased an 11x13 Barnwood frame with extra details on corners, and it was a bit bulkier. I bought these as accent frames to go on either side. Quality wood, but fairly plain. I did not expect it to be quite so perfectly cut, as it is real barn wood and I hoped for a more rustic look. These are as described and I will be using.

These frames are extremely rustic, with wood flaking off in areas. I am returning one that had a large hole that looked like a screw had been sloppily ripped out of the wood. I have received some that I like with interesting knot holes that worked well for a rustic cabin. It's kind of hit and miss with these.
