Just wish it was bigger
Easy to open, easy to close. Only just now got it, so I haven't tried to stuff it back into the leather sleeve yet, but I suspect it will be fine. The sleeve appears plenty roomy. It's in the upper 90s here today, and could feel instantly the drop in temperature inside my van once I put it up, which is very much needed since it's all black leather/ black carpet interior. Burned the back of my legs getting in to put in my new shade. My only issue so far, is that even the large is still just too small. I have a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Touring L, and it has a really large windshield. One made in a size XL would probably be fantastic. It's a tad short on the height, which isn't a huge deal, but it does still leave a good 4 inches or so exposed on either side. But, with the size of windshield I have, I knew finding one that fits would be difficult. I do like the umbrella style, since my pacifica comes with an umbrella holder between the seat and the door. And it's small enough, I could probably even fit it in the door pocket as well. Much easier and faster to put up than the old accordion style ones. And there is no spot in my van for an accordion style shade. Not enough room between the center console and passenger seat, so it just ends up floating around on the floor when not being used.. which I hate. Everything needs a place in there when you have kids. The handle doesn't hit my dash screen, yet does rest on the dash front, but not against anything at risk of damage. Gives it a nice, snug fit. The fact that it's solid and not floppy (like the accordion ones), means it's much easier to flip the visors down to hold it snug. No more back and forth adjusting, no having to unclip the visor to angle it down to try to hold it.We'll see how it lasts, the little bones in it don't feel super strong, but maybe I'll be surprised at their strength. Hope they do fine for at least the rest of the summer. So far, I'm very pleased!EDIT! Stuffs back into its sleeve very easily, and fits my umbrella spot perfect!

This works fairly well, but is not durable at all
Got this for sun protection for an '11 chrysler town and country. It's a fair sized windshield. This sunshade packs down small, but offered effective, full windshield coverage. It's not terribly easy to fold back down, but it's not particularly hard to do either once you've played with it a few times. My only issue is that it started breaking almost right out of the box. The stitching that holds the metal arms to the fabric has torn in a number of places. At the moment it is only a minor annoyance since it still functions. But I don't use this product very frequently and am disappointed with how it's holding up. If you plan to use this daily, I wouldn't expect it to last the summer without needed some home repairs. Overall, not bad for the price, and I only use it occasionally, but if you are looking for something for frequent or daily use, this might not be for you.

Works great...be gentle!
This thing works great! As other reviews have noted it is fragile! Don't try to pop it open quickly. Be careful especially since your doing this inside your car with limited space. Open slowly and place it carefully. I'm hopeful it will last by doing this. Who knows?? I'll update if it falls apart...

Save your money and buy something well made...
Thought this was the size for my Ram 1500. Wrong. NOT 57". Wide. This one came in at 53" Wide. Not well made. Different from the other one I ordered for my Lexus....the 53" was 51" BUT better made? It's almost like they have different small home factories making these Sun Shades without the same master plan. Totally NOT worth sending back given Amazon's New Return Policy to make it a PITA. Great Concept but lousy actual everyday usage experience.

Easy to use
I have bought 5 of these now and have one in each car. It is easy to use and store. I actually use this because I can fold it and stick in the center console. It doesn't get lost or put out of reach like the big folding visors. My issue is, I've had 3 break at the same spot....at the top when you open it to clip it. The clip broke one my first one after a year. I bought one to replace it and it broke on day 30 of my prime, so I could send it back. I bought a knock off version and returned it...it smelled and the fabric was flimsy. So, I bought a new one of these. I've had it for 2 months now and it broke today. Sigh. Maybe it's the angle of our van window. Not sure, because the ones in our cars seem to be doing ok.
