I love this thing. I had a weighted blanket for years, but found that hauling it over me when I went to sleep, or even worse, out to the couch if I wasn't feeling well, was causing me significant shoulder pain. Add that to the hot flashes I was blessed with in the last year, and I needed something different. I found this after seeing a knockoff on a Facebook ad, and went looking for a reputable company to buy one from. This was it. It folds up smaller than a tshirt, which means I can travel with it. It's warm enough that I rarely need a blanket (and when I do, it's a lightweight cotton one), but breathable enough that I don't get too warm in it... and if I do, I can always kick my feet out. Getting up in the middle of the night is not an issue either - kick my feet out and pull it up to my knees, and pull it down just like a pair of pants.

My wife teases but but I love this. So comfy. Update 3 months after purchase it started to fray. The warranty is only for 30 days apparently. They offered to sell me another one for 1/2 off. I’m sorry but for 79 dollars this should not fray after 3 months.

Der Sleep Pod an sich hat eine gute Qualität, wenn auch das Material, dadurch, dass es Polyester besteht, nicht ganz mein Fall ist. Es ist zumindest sehr schön weich und wärmend (vermutlich nachts aber auch v.a. im Sommer eher schwitzig als kühlend). Nachdem ich einen super Erfolg mit der Gewichtsdecke für den Winter hatte, hatte ich mit dem Sleeping Pod auf einen Erfolg für den Sommer gehofft. Leider wurde ich enttäuscht. Ich hatte eher das Gefühl Panik zu bekommen, dadurch dass ich meine Beine nicht gut bewegen und nicht mit dem Pod laufen konnte, als Ruhe zu erhalten.Unten wegen der Beine besteht viel Lockerheit. Oben hatte ich hingegen das Gefühl wie in einer Zwangsjacke, sobald ich meine Arme mit im Pod hatte. Mit den Armen draußen, hatte ich nur das Gefühl ein enges Band um meine Brust zu schnüren.

I really wanted to love this and it had so much potential, but the way the foot opening is stitched it isn’t stretchy. So I can’t wriggle in to my pod standing up then get in bed because I can’t move my legs/get far enough to thrown one up on the bed then the other. This is also a safety risk because if I had to get up in an emergency I’d have to fight my way wriggling out of it while laying down to get out of bed. If only the bottom was finished the same way as the top I think this would be amazing. But as it is, it’s useless to me.

Let me start off by saying that this thing is soooooo soft. The best thing I can compare it to would be a pair of luxurious leggings. It has a lot of stretch and give to it. I will say that this DOES take a few days to get used to and figure out how high up you want to pull it. I personally keep it below my bustline, but when I lounge on the couch I like to bring it up around my shoulders.I tested the stretch quite a bit because I sleep in all sorts of contorted positions and when I first put it on, I realized that when I flip over (I move a lot to get comfy) that it was best to stretch it a little while moving around so it didnt get all twisted like my blankets do. I also suffer from restless leg syndrome but this actually helped provide the pressure I needed to help me relax.I recently traveled and it fit nicely in my carryon luggage (keep the pouch it comes in, it comes in handy). It also kept me feeling secure when I was away from my husband.If you are someone that struggles with anxiety, this is a must. It provides a light and gentle pressure where you don't feel confined, but instead you feel comforted.I personally got the size medium. I am 5'0" and 175lbs with broader shoulders and bust.Definitely worth the investment!!!!
