Amanda Rose Collection Pear Shape Lab Created Opal and White Sapphire Pendant-Necklace in Sterling Silver

I gave this pendant necklace to my wife for Valentine's Day, and she really likes it. I was very impressed as well. The quality of manufacture is excellent. What's not shown in the pictures is that the pendant is about a quarter-inch deep with nice filigree work in the sides of the setting. The white sapphires are very tiny, about a millimeter or less, and my only criticism is that they are set slightly irregularly, so that the crowns aren't all perfectly aligned. They are so small, though, that it doesn't matter at all, and everything else about the necklace appears to be flawless, even the filigree work in the setting that allows a little light to shine through the back of the opal. The created opal is beautiful and very convincing with blue-green flecks and a faint pinkish glow. It is also likely more durable than a natural opal. I actually prefer white sapphires to diamonds because sapphires, especially lab-created ones, don't come with the ethical issues and marketing hype of diamonds, but that's personal preference. The chain used in this necklace is nothing special. At 18-inches, it hangs just below the shoulders. It's well-made but delicate, and a good match for this pendant. It could be upgraded to improve the overall appearance of the necklace, though. This is fashion jewelry, not "fine" jewelry, but it is a very beautiful and high-quality piece for a very reasonable price. The white gift box is also nice because the lid prevents the pendant from moving around much, so it gives a nice presentation when opened. A good purchase and recommended.

Oh my gosh! This is gorgeous. AND, it matches the earrings my hubby got from his place of employment for me for him working 20 years. I have worn it every day for about 6 months, taking it off at night and to shower. The synthetic opal holds up. It’s still “shiny”, the chain is fantastic. And the opal has NOT gotten loose in the sterling silver, as silver is so soft there’s a tendency for it to loose its stone.Super super pleased. I would totally buy it again!

Smaller than I thought it wounder be. The manequin picture is slightly misleading. Chain is short and not so nice quality. The opal is nice but it looks very man made in my opinion especially from the side makes it look more like stick on plastic jewel. I was expecting a little more for 60 dollars.

I received the necklace in an envelope with no paperwork. No proof of purchase....nothing. The necklace was not nearly as impressive as shown, and this was to be a gift. I am very disappointed in my purchase.

The necklace is stunning! I bought this to give to my granddaughter for her birthday. I just hope a 16 year old will be as pleased as her grandmother.

Husband got this for me for my birthday since mine and my daughters birthday are in October. It's a beautiful piece of jewelry and I love it. Unfortunately the chain broke when turning the chain on my neck, hoping to get a replacement chain so I can still wear it. Would recommend to be very fragile with the chain.
