Great hard to find size tire
These should work great until weather or mileage gets to them. I'm on my second set mostly due to weather checking from age. They last a decent amount of time and mileage. Better than Kendra in my opinion. There aren't a lot of sources for this tire size. I hope Carlisle continues to make these.

False advertising
The specs indicate that this tire is made in USA, but the ones I received are from China. I purchased these partly because they were claimed to be from the USA. Have not had them on the road yet, but will run them 1400 miles at 70mph for which the are rated. We shall see.

The few, the proud the 12" ply tire.
Needed to replace the 2-year old factory tires on our pop-up that blew out. Amazed to find so few options for 12", ply, E speed-rated tires on the market. Why not use the much more common and durable 13"-sized tires, but that’s a different review. If you own any trailer with small tires, you know they blow-out much more often than normal vehicle tires. I expect about a 2-3-year life on them, depending on the amount of driving. We bought a set of these tires, and used them on a 3,000-mile roundtrip from Texas to California, during the intense summer heat. Tires did great, with no issues. We’re about to do about a 2,000-mile roundtrip from Texas to Colorado, so we will see how they do after a year, and will update. One key detail to note; these tires need to be inflated to 80psi, which many gas-station air pumps cannot pump to. So, you may need to stop by a tire shop (Discount Tire, NTB, Walmart etc.) to have them properly inflated. Without proper inflation, you risk premature blow-out.

Stout, well made tires
Got a pair of these Carlisles to replace the cheap B rated HF tires on my boat trailer (total weight 900 lbs). I make long trips pretty often, driving 75, even 80 in hot weather for hours at a time. I got tired of constantly buying new- sometimes mid- journey. The 4.80-12 HF treads wear smooth in about 2000 miles. I just removed the cheap tires from the wheels, and its a miracle I did not have a blowout they are so thin. These D rated Carlisles are way thicker everywhere. Mounting them I was impressed how stout they are - 2 ply glass and 2 ply steel on the tread, with 2 ply glass on the sidewall. The bead is very substantial with ribs where it contacts the rim to accommodate surface rust I suppose. They arrived loose in a large box so they were not deformed and they were manufactured one month ago. I will try to remember to edit after I get a few hundred miles on them to report on tread wear.Oct, 2018 update. About 2000 miles on the tires, mostly high speed, and no visible wear. Very pleased with these tires.

LOVE THEM -- BE SURE TO UNDERSTAND THE LETTER CODES.. You can USE a better Letter than you currently have - it is okay.
Great Value and tire for my trailer. WARNING: When buying trailer tires it is not just the price... watch your WEIGHT code The higher the letter the more weight the tire can carry... It is the letter AFTER all the numbers. Spend a little more for a heavy weight tire like I did, and your 1500 pound 5x8 trailer can suddenly carry more weight without looking like the tires are about to explode under pressure. Get the most out of your trailer.. My trailer can carry 2000 pounds per the manufacturer but the original tires where a low letter code from Carlisle so every time I pout more than 500 pounds in it -- it look liked I wouldn't make it home. Who knew it wasn't the trailer but the tires. LOL I bought two of these to balance out the weight, and moved my old low weight to the spare, but will replace that with one of these shortly, just to be safe! these were not that much more than the lower weight and still a great deal - via AMAZON.

Great tires
Bought these to replace the wore 4.80x12 bias ply on my 22 cubic foot pull behind motorcycle trailer. Pulled the trailer about 300 miles so far. They ride great and what little bounce there was is gone.

Good tire
It’s a tire. Hasn’t blown, so I would say it’s a good tire.
