Just review what size drill bit you need to drill with before using and use an impact drill to install. They all went in and worked perfectly.

I installed 96 of these on a new trailer deck and they worked flawlessly.

Recently installed utv tie downs on my trailer made the be bolted through deck boards. 2 anchor points landed on the trailers steel. Tried drilling and tapping by hand, didn't work. Found these though I would give them a try. Seem strong others have told me 4 could hold well over 1000lbs i believe they can too. I used them in 1/8 inch steel and hold very well.

I used them for screwing down floor boards on a utility trailer. They cut the threads as claimed. No problems. Worked as advertised.

We used these fasteners to replace the wood deck of our 33 year old utility trailer and they made the process a breeze. After pre-drilling the pilot hole through both the wood deck board and the 3/16" thick wall of the steel cross beams, it was a simple matter to install these self-tapping fasteners using a cordless drill (didn't need an impact driver). We used 40 fasteners to secure the wood deck and each fastener worked perfectly, not a single one broke, cammed out or stripped.

These are great screws, the self tap feature work exactly as it should where other brands and styles of self tapping screws failed miserably. As long as you drill the appropriate size starting hole for the thread these screws do their job well. If you’re looking to fasten anything to metal, or steel tubing like I did these are the screws to use.

Really awesome screws for the replacement deck project but I ordered 2" and they are closer to 1 3/4' which was almost too short for my project, had to get it done so I couldn't send them back for longer ones. 5 stars for quality but 4 for size frustration.
