I liked the fact that it came with a 5 foot ...
I purchase the Lepower 100 watt LED flood light for indoor use. I liked the fact that it came with a 5 foot long cord with a grounded plug. It also has an inline on/off switch that is a great feature for controlling the unit and a mounting bracket. It has an ample finned heat sink and double 50 watt LEDs side by side placed in a large reflector with a solid glass covering lens.I have had lots of experience with LED flood lights and have experienced various degrees of workmanship and claims to actual power in watts. I have persoally tested this unit and have come up with the following results.Firstly, the equipment I used to evaluate the Lepower flood light is as follows:Tacklife inline power meterRosewill laser guided infrared temperature gaugeMicronta VOMThe testing was done at a room temperature of 73 degrees Fahrenheit.Findings. The unit is properly grounded via the ground lead from the plug to the physical body of the lamp. Upon start up, the lamp pulled down 105 watts from a 120 volt line wall outlet. The current draw was .87 amps. The power factor was 1.0.The unit is radio quiet. That means it made no interference in an AM radio placed next to it, a sign of quality parts and good design in the drivers for the LEDs. The temperature of the heat sink varied over time from the hottest in the middle where the LEDs are actually connected, to cooler towards the outer edges of the finned body. The unit was lying at a 15 degree angle beamed at the ceiling with about 3 inches of clearance beneath it and no forced air cooling. The central temperature of the heat sink unit was 185 degrees Fahrenheit after one hour of continuous use. The temperature at the edges were on average 115 degrees F. after one hour of use. This supports the premise heat flows towards the cooler edges of the heat sink and reflects the correct action of the thermals involved. The final amount of power drawn from the line in was 97 watts. This is consistent with an LED(s) obtaining its operating temperature and it is an expected slight loss of power. Conclusion: I found the Lepower flood light to be as stated in the product description. It is a high performance product and as such, will run considerably hot. Caution must be maintained if handling it while live. For the money charged for this light, I feel I have received an excellent value.

Built like a tank, this light is a Beast!
I bought one of these lights a while back, and just answered a question someone had about it.I thought others may want to know this info so I'm including it in my review as well.I needed a light for my backyard area so I bought this one.It is a BEAST,and is VERY well made,I would consider it "Industrial" quality.I'm very happy with it,however there are some things others may want to consider. These lights are super bright, and some do get hot(see my update),despite the heatsink on them.I do not recommend them being mounted low enough that any person or animal could accidentally touch them.I have mine mounted high up on the wall of my house. Also,do not look into the light for very long or you may damage you eyes. Not sure how "waterproof" they are too.I have mine under an overhang. It gets slightly wet when it rains, but just to be safe I would'nt mount it out in the open.As you can see by the design with the sloped reflector backing surrounding the LED's,this light covers a LARGE area.IMO this could be used for a parking lot! They are GREAT lights, just be certain that you want something this bright. One of my neighbors has complained! If I buy any more of these type lights for other areas of my property,I think I will go with a 50 watt model.I cannot even imagine how bright the 150 watt model is!Just wanted to add;the light is heavy and when I tried to mount it so that it swiveled up and down the weight of it made it point downwards,so I mounted it so that it swiveled from side to side which worked out very nicely as now, using a broomstick to reach it,I can now reposition the light more to the left or right if needed.I did NOT receive any compensation for this review,I paid full price for mine!UPDATE-2/17/17After getting some messages from others stating that their lights were not getting hot I rechecked mine.Mine does get hot in the center of the back side but stays cool on the front,so I would agree with the others for the most part.

Incredible illumination & high quality!
This unit pictured here is one 100 watt LED flood light with two LED cells on it (the product being sold). This unit is a power house. I live in a rule farm community in Stanwood, WA and it is pitch black outside with out the aid of a flash light. Not anymore with my setup. From the front of my home I only have a small porch light which provides very little light and this beast. That is all that I have aimed forward, I have other LED lights (same brand) on the side but they are aimed at different direction. I have this light mounted about 16' feet off of the ground and it illuminates a huge area, it's really impressive (see pics). I have it at about 17-20 degrees off of the wall. I do that so it does not "blind" people when they walk up to or drive by my home. So even though it is extremely bright it is not too bright at all. I provided a before picture but it does not show the whole area. It looks like there is a street light out in my front yard but in a good way. Very clean cool light. If you are thinking about buying this product I would go for it. I like the quality and function of this product, I am very satisfied with this unit. 5+ Stars!-Bryan
