Great Guitar for the price
Pros:Great feeling fretboardLots of resonant sound unpluggedSpecs are impressive for the priceBridge actually works well. Holds intonation and tuning.Beautiful veneer and aestheticCons:Pickups are very subdued.I’d like a thinner neck profileGuitar body isn’t that comfortable in a classical position.A few tiny qc issues. (Two divots in fret inserts, small black painting mishap on neck)A great guitar overall. Especially comfortable for travel or watching TV while practicing. Im very impressed by the resonance of the wood and the feel of the fretboard. I actually really like the bridge despite most people hating it. It’s incredibly easy to setup and it holds tuning, what else can you ask for? I’ll eventually swap the pickups and I believe that will make a huge difference, can’t beat this price point!

Great for the money!
I have 35 years of guitar playing, repair and setup experience. This is based solely on my preferences and the way I play.1. Fast shipping.2. The guitar is heavier than expected, which was a surprise. Balance is good as well.3. You WILL need to set it up, or get someone to do it. Set action, intonation and truss rod. Take the time to research how the bridge works, you will save yourself a ton of heartache.4. The tuners at the bridge are hard to turn. That little magnetic crank is a pain in the rear. However, if you slightly loosen the small phillips screw in the dial, it will make it easier to turn.5. The pickups are 4/10. Very spongy, muddy and undefined. This is the guitar’s weakness in my opinion. Drop a few bucks and upgrade them. I will install a Duncan JB and Jazz for my tastes and tone preference. I also prefer a 5 way switch, and this has a 3 way.6. The guitar came with 10-46 gauge strings installed. Because of the lack of strings on the headstock and bridge, the string tension is very tight. For a normal player, I would not put any higher than 9’s on it. For heavier players and drop tunings, you should be fine with whatever you use.7. Strap Locks. Get them.8. I’m not personally a fan of the knobs, but it’s not a huge issue.9. The frets are absolutely killer. I’mnot sure they are stainless steel, but they are smooth as butter.10. The top is interesting and nice. There is a small rough place on the side of the veneer. A few weeks of playing will naturally smooth that out.Overall, it’s pretty cool and unique for the price. If you don’t like it, you can always return it.Update: The addition of A Seymour Duncan & Jazz made this guitar scream. A worthy addition to my collection.
